We've stayed for a week in Sheraton and had a great time. The staff is wonderful, always trying to give you the best possible experience. The beach is perfectly clean and gives a great opportunity to swim, and 600 meters away is a jetty that takes you to an amazing coral reef so you snorkle or dive without leaving the hotel. There is a shuttle so we could enjoy the whole somabay shoreline from jetty to the nearby hotels and the marina. Food variety was great and they've even had gluten free and sugar free options that we appreciated a lot.

I would have rated 4, but there are 2 strong reasons that make me give 5: 1. The staff is perfect. Everyone is very nice, helpful, attentive and hard working, ready to fulfill any wish 2. The paradise beach with relaxing atmosphere, long sandy beach, not crowded, clean, plenty with sun beds at a great distance from each other and with good shade The only weak point is that the hotel is a little outdated and some areas need renovation. But that's not a big problem. All the other positive aspects compensate for this small inconvenience. We spent an amazing time here, enjoy it very much and We like to return sometime.

The hotel is very nice and rooms are spacious. The beach and sand is amazing and the food is very good. The cleanliness level of the hotel and the hospitality of the stuff is exceptional. They also have a nice aqua park they I really liked. I would definitely visit the hotel again especially during winter as the whether is just amazing.

We just came back from our first holiday in Egypt and after so many rumors, I am very happy that we got to experience the Egyptian seaside. So, the hotel is not the newest and will be going into full renovation starting this December. However, the staff makes ALL the difference! I've never ever felt this welcome in any location, everyone is super friendly and willing to go all lengths to make sure you're enjoying your holiday. We really liked the food (fresh, diverse, delicious), the desserts, the cleanliness everywhere, the beach. The guys at the bars are so nice, but they need to work on their beverage preparing skills. At the beach, you're at a good distance so it never feels crowded. Unfortunately for us, the sea was quite cold and so was the pool. Even so, Sheraton offered us a 5* holiday with their amenities and nicest staff! …

This is our second stay at Sheraton Somabay but we were lucky enough to explore their beach suites this time and it was magnificent! This is the first time with our baby boy and the additional space was just perfect for a one year old on the move. Spacious bedroom, bathroom, living area, terrace and a dressing area (sure helped hide a lot from the little guy) and the cherry on top was its proximity from the beach; literally a few steps away. A special thank you the amazing gentlemen in their main restaurant who looked after us for the second year in a row - Waleed, Wael, Ahmed, Tamer, Abdel Aal, Chef Estefanous and Islam. Amazing guys really! A special thank you to Hesham from house keeping and his supervisor Desouky too. We had a great time and we can’t wait to revisit after their planned upcoming renovations. Kudos to the exceptional management of Mr. Borris, the General Manager and amazing directors such as Mina Adly, Director of Revenue - gentlemen like you inspire the team to extend warm hospitality.…

I had the best vacation at this hotel, the staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. I liked the variety of the buffet. I enjoyed alot at soma splash. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as it exceeded my expectations in every aspect.

First time in Egypt and wasn’t expecting that everything was so good: - Excellent beach (sea was perfect, free beds to relax in the beach, super safe, calm, perfect to release the stress. Beach staff were always helpful finding us shadow spots) - Staff was superb ( particularly Mohamed from the front desk and Hamdy El Noby from the beach) - buffet restaurant was good - treatment as Marriott Bonvoy gold member made us feel very special ( we had a little problem during the stay that was overcome with an amazing upgrade) Besides all of this, I didn’t feel that the staff members were pushing for tips, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall great money for value. <3

The hotel was great, tremendous variety of food an drink, but the outstanding staff made all the difference! From the head chef Sherif Alghalban, restaurant manager Said, our waiter Matta and the restaurant host at the entrance Salma were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Matta our regular waiter looked after us and dealt very politely with some rude and awkward guests, showing a high level of training and good manners in sometimes difficult circumstances. All in all a pleasant stay at this hotel.
