We selected this inn because all of the other accommodations within proximity of Lake George were booked, during a busy (auto show) weekend. To our surprise, the location of the inn was perfect because we were able to avoid the congestion along the routes into the Town of Lake George. The Innkeeper was gracious and very accommodating. The rooms were...

When our family from across the country came to town for a wedding, they stayed at the Merrill Magee Inn. It is centrally located in town, within walking distance to everything. The Inn is clean, quiet, lovely and extremely comfortable. The Inn Keeper was extremely accommodating with the various arrival times and very gracious with all of our out of...

An absolute gem of an inn is the best way to describe Merrill Magee Inn. Although close to town, it retains the feel of a country property including the peace and quiet. Our host, Dan, was welcoming and no request was too much trouble for him to accommodate. Our room was large, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the attention to details...

The inn is very cute, clean, and well kept. We stayed in room 10 which had the most comfortable bed. The bathroom toiletries smelled wonderful. Downstairs there is a great breakfast room. I will stay here anytime I am in the Warrensburg area. Great place!

We stayed with two other couples at the Merrill Magee inn for a weekend getaway in July. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and spacey. The bed, pillow and comforter are super comfy. The inn itself is nicely managed and there is a lot of space. The location is very close to town and...

The innkeeper is doing his best to run a lovely inn and it shows. Very nice touches -- luxurious sheets and towels. Great soaps, lotions. Room was very clean. Wish that they had repainted the bathroom like they did the rest of the room but it was clean and fine. Would highly recommend if staying in the area.

My family and I stayed here for a wedding and this place was very nice. It has beautifully refurbished rooms and isn't stuffy. The place is clean and the rooms are decorated and cozy. It is a small inn, and the inn keeper is very nice and helpful, but not overbearing.

We went on our Anniversary as we had celebrated our 50th at the Merrill Magee Inn but it was not the same. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu choices are really limited. Food was alright but there are a lot of local restaurants with greater value. I would recommend people try some other great places in the area.

Had a wonderful meal last night, the food was fantastic! Generous portions with beautiful presentation, fresh chunky crisp vegetables in House salad, warm baked bread, sides included both veggie and potato and NOT your ordinary potato and vegetable. Staff very friendly, service excellent, dining room warm and cozy with wood burning fireplace. Prices very reasonable and owner Dan very accommodating....

Just had a wonderful meal in the tavern with my family. Beautiful location. Warm and inviting. Staff was very friendly. We ordered off the tavern menu and had drinks. The food was fantastic. Great portions and a reasonable price! The beer on tap was excellent. Cannot wait to go again!!!
