Our table was ready and the whole place was spotless. Felt really safe. Very tastefully decorated for Christmas. Our lunch was just perfectly cooked. Very tasty. We were spoilt for choice but both opted for the Guinea Fowl which was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant service from the word go. Stylish and comfortable room, with a great shower, proper milk for the in room drinks too. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal with good wine, again with such nice genuine service from the lovely staff. Slept very well and then, what a breakfast - set us up for the day. We can't wait to come again, and thanks so much for looking after us so nicely, the Angel is certainly keeping to all the Covid rules, in fact they are going above and beyond!

Booked in to stay at the Angel Inn for one night in a dog friendly room, maybe a little expensive but was worth it. On arrival staff were helpful and engaging. The pub has just recently had a total refurbishment Our room was very stylish, clean and comfortable every effort had been made to think of our needs. Bottled water tea and coffee. Beautiful walk in shower totally luxurious. Food is great and service was really good. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend. Thank you guys.

Recently spent three nights at The Angel in Wangford . This was a late booking as we could not visit our property in Wales. From start to finish we had an excellent experience. The Angel is perfectly situated for touring around Suffolk. The bedroom was modern, clean and very comfortable. Both the breakfast and evening meals were superb. When you go try the pork fillet absolutely gorgeous. I think the thing that struck us most was the quality of the friendly and professional staff. Everyone had a can do attitude , with nothing too much trouble , clearly they all enjoyed their job which reflected in the top top service they provided. Finally in these times it was reassuring that all Covid good practice was followed.Thanks again to all at The Angel.

Arrived Sunday for 3 nights. Wonderfully pleasant welcome and we were given room 1 which was great, very roomy with a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. The whole place was refurbished recently and nothing has been spared on the fixtures and fittings. We had a light lunch and later had an evening meal. The food was excellent and we also ate there on Monday. An excellent breakfast is included in the price. The staff are brilliant and could not do enough for us. The bar/ restaurant area is cosy yet quite large with a few rooms running into each other, and all COVID precautions are adhered to. The village is only 3/4 miles from Southwold and takes about 7/8 minutes, a very handy location. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this Inn to anyone visiting the area.
