The hotel is in the midst of restoration and elegance of the past is visible. Our room was in good condition, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect with free parking. The hotel offered a continental breakfast which was adequate. The front desk staff was great. There had been a booking error and Carol who was at the front desk...

Stayed while visiting Hamilton College. Rooms are large. Beds are very comfortable. Hotel is through back to the early 20th century. Lobby is grand. Breakfast is free and adequate, nothing special but it will get your day started. It is being renovated but there is no discomfort from the process.

Before it is changed, do yourself a favor and see what an elegant hotel used to look like. Once she must have been a grand lady. the tile floors, the marble columns, the large chandeliers, the old bar, and the large rooms are something you will never see again. This is not a cookie cutter hotel. And the staff is...

We stayed here for a night while we went to a concert and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Granted, nothing is state of the art but they are h set renovations. Historic looking lobby makes it seems HUGE. The rooms were spacious enough but the water pressure was AMAZING! That alone is worth five stars! They served a nice...

Rather than travel home on a blustery winter night after visiting family, we stopped at this historic hotel to check availability. The front desk clerk was very friendly, greeting us as we entered beneath the crystal chandeliers. She was able to match a price we had found on Orbitz for a wonderfully comfortable king sized room. The large dining room...

An old hotel that has been updated. Rooms may be odd shaped as a result of conversion, but are typically larger as a result. The furnishings are a bit worn, but clean. Staff very nice. In process of major renovation

My sisters and I had adjoining rooms with about 700 sq. ft. total! The rooms are huge. They are very dated but clean. It was last renovated in 2001. Doubletree is doing a complete overhaul of the place and it looks like they will be taking some of the historic character of the place away. They have a huge breakfast...

We planned our Annual Corporate Meeting luncheon at the Hotel Utica. I have to say the pricing was outrageous. The food was sub par....I love food and should be a foodie. The Radisson was another hotel I was looking at....they were professional and had reasonable pricing with great food options. My manager wanted Hotel Utica due to its historical feature....
