The new menu was a disappointment. There were few uninspired selections. Neither of us finished our food. It was also overpriced, I had the filet and have had much better elsewhere. The highly recommended soup was OK but for $10 a bowl, I should have skipped it. We gone there many times over the years and missed the old menu...

This is a wonderful, charming, Victorian mansion. We have stayed here several times over the years when we visited Cornell University. I am an alumna and our son is now a student there. Everything was perfect during each of our stays. I hope they continue to keep the authentic Victorian furniture in the rooms. Staff is friendly, place is clean....

My husband and I stayed for the weekend while we were visiting our son at Cornell University. We can not say enough about how wonderful the whole experience was. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The property itself is beautiful, rich in history and set beautifully on Taughannock Falls trail which we highly recommend walking. The restaurant is awesome,...

Beautiful location for those who want close access to the lake and hiking at the falls. The Inn is beautiful, but it should be known that the rooms are very old fashioned and country. Due to the old nature of the inn, the room was a bit musty on a hot day. If you are into quaint and marmy, this...

What a wonderful experience! This was a last minute find as a lot of the hotels I was familiar with were booked due to a local college having homecoming weekend. We were greeted as soon as we walked in a very professional and friendly manner. Check in was quick and hassle free. We were thrilled when we walked into our...

The salads we three had were all delicious with homemade dressings and interesting ingredients in each. The bread was fresh and warm. The dinners were good but not memorable. I just remember my daughter wasn't happy with her Bolognese sauce and after tasting it I could see why. Needed to be cooked longer and a bit of sugar added to...

Room was a bit pricey for the value. Advertised as lake view room but the view was very limited between some trees. Living room furniture was a bit dated and the TV was an old, outdated CRT tube TV. Room was a duplex and walls were thin, could hear neighbors.

A beautiful place to rest and enjoy time with family and friends! We were impressed with the quality of the rooms, the property, the view, the staff and the breakfast experience. Had a blast hiking the trails, cooking out at the scenic park, boating and swimming. A family weekend that we plan to do again and will definitely book at...

My wife and I were married on the front lawn of the Inn 34 years ago and have come back every year to spend our anniversary. Over the years there have been a few minor changes with the previous owners. This year with the new owner there seem to be a number of changes already made and more to come....
