What a wonderful place to visit. I was staying for 3 days while I attended a workshop in Troy. Price was amazingly cheap and Tina was so welcoming that I felt like I was visiting a relatives home. The only inconvenience is that the private bathroom is down the hall. Which only adds to the feeling of being in a...

We often visit Troy and the Olde Judge Mansion is our favorite place to stay. This old Victorian mansion has been beautifully restored and maintained, The owner, Tina, is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast she serves is outstanding.

Nice, clean place to stay. Good value. Tina was very friendly and served a great made to order breakfast. If you're visiting RPI it's a great, overnight , close place to stay. If you are visiting RPI you can get a discount which I thought was great.

LOVELY Old Victorian Home and furnishings! Room= just fine. Bathroom down the hall=inconvenient. EXCELLENT, pleasant & helpful Host & YUMMY made-to-order Breakfasts! Run-down (dangerous?) in-town Neighborhood location. Lots of street traffic.

This was my first bed & breakfast experience and it did not disappoint. I was quite surprised to find this place so close to RPI and in a not appealing part of Troy. Despite the area this place satisfies my needs of a cozy place to sleep with the added bonus of a fully stocked breakfast home made by the...

Had a great time visiting Troy while staying at the Olde Judge Mansion. Tina does a great job making the guest feel at home. The breakfast was excellent. The house was built in 1892 by my Great Grandmothers father so it was nice to see that Tina had brought the building back to life and people are enjoying the homestay...

We passed through Troy on a college tour excursion and stayed here to visit RPI. If you're looking for a historical, authentic place to stay, then this is the place for you. The hostess was very detailed on all of her instructions, cooked a perfect breakfast to order, and was well versed in the history of the area.

My husband and I arrived expecting clean and nostalgic. We got dirty and run down. We love the bed and breakfast experience. But this was dirty with old clothes hanging in the closet. Nothing about it looked like the photos!! I have to wonder what happened...

Hello Joyce, I am responding to your Review as it has just been brought to my attention by another, frequent, long-standing Guest at my Bed and Breakfast. I do not have time working 7 days a week to browse the Internet so did not see it. I am sorry you were so disappointed. I price my establishment as a B&B...

The Olde Judge Mansion is a somewhat unconventional bed and breakfast in terms of its location. A cabbie was surprised to learn the building was a B&B, having driven by it countless times. It wasn’t to his mind where a B&B normally would be (e.g., secluded country lane, posh urban neighborhood, etc.). The Olde Judge is on a fairly busy...

Thank you very much for your Honest review. Yes we are 200 yr old City, so no it is not a new Neighborhood, but old large well built Mansions are not found in new Neighborhhoods nor are they zoned for it. BUT we are very close to the main highway and Interstate and right on the Busline to get anywhere...

Everything is good here, and usually far better than good. Charming atmosphere, lovely host, great food, abundant breakfasts. It's like no place you've ever stayed; you may be caught off guard (and then intrigued) by the unexpected and distinctive character. But unless you're looking for chlorine-fuming pools, atomic-powered sauna, automatic toenail clippers, and insecticide-drenched polyester sheets—you'll love it, and come...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review. B&B's are the Great Great Grandchildren of the old Stage Coach stops. Travel stay in someone's home to eat, Bathe and sleep, not Resorts as some expect us to be, so I am glad you chose me and it worked for you.❤️
