Pub fare, prepared reasonably well. The setting is both casual and relaxed. Menu offerings to please almost all palates. The north country is notoriously slow to embrace the healthy eating movement. BYOB is a positive; bring your favorite vintage and have fun sampling the menu. A decent evening out.

Set in a charming, old world hotel with a wrap-around porch that's perfect for outdoor seating, the restaurant that is essentially the only game in town in this island enclave off the St. Lawrence River once offered truly fine dining with sophisticated dishe and a decent wine list. Under new management, the food is now rather ordinary: fried fish, a... More

I visited this hotel earlier than August 2015 but the dropdown would not let me select an earlier date. The place is very quaint and seems like it takes you back in time travel, in a god way. The Marina is a block away. It is one of the finest marinas one can find. Swimming is allowed in June. Water... More

Crossed the border from Canada to pick up some packages and tracked down this little gem. An excellent breakfast at a good price. While waiting for our food we looked around the museum in the same building.

A famous spot on Wellesley. The food is great and so is the service. Worth a try if you're looking for something more upscale. It is a good idea for a nice family dinner or for a romantic evening. This venue has a historical feel to it and is in the middle of the very quaint and pretty Thousand Islands... More

We were pleasantly surprised. After reading a few reviews, my hopes had been dashed. But, the dinner as well presented and tasty. I especially liked the unique presentation of the caesar salad side. The service was very good as well.

I am shocked to see even a handful of poor reviews. I had dinner here last week--the food, service, and setting were excellent. I had the Mayan Pork--very creative and delicious. A great break from camp food if you are staying at the nearby Wellesley Island State Park.

After driving through quintessential Thousand Island Park and all the gorgeously maintained period housing of this community, we parked at the Hotel to go in and get some ice cream. The architecture of the building is amazing. The management has done relatively well to maintain the building's integrity, although the furniture on the wraparound porch is not original, nor arranged... More

Since this is the only place to stay in the area, they have a captured audience. Needs lots of improvement. There was a fire across the street and you could smell the smoke everywhere. The rooms are adequate for a motel 6. Not worth what they charge. The beds should of been change a couple of years ago. Service for... More

Hello Greg, My name is Stephanie and my husband, Hugo and I are the manager and chef of the Wellesley Hotel. We were sad to see you did not enjoy your stay with us.
