My family & I stayed at the Castle Hotel & Spa on vacation in August. The restaurant is fabulous! Beautiful view, elegant dining, wonderful wait staff and top notch delicious food! We celebrated my birthday there & I was treated to a fabulous piece of amazing chocolate mousse cake. Chef McAllister was truly an extraordinary chef & person. He came... More

Heard the Castle was a nice place and decided to try it. We tried to schedule spa treatments but were told that there was only one girl working so no couples massages and that the only thing the girl was qualified to do was a regular massage. So we skipped the spa. When we pulled up to the place we... More

The spa and hotel front desk customer service not professional and not friendly. You would expect a bit more help and better service for the amount money you pay. Very disorganized. Would not recommend.

I purchased the anniversary package that included breakfast and a dinner. The food was great. Breakfast wait staff were charming and funny. Unfortunately, The front desk failed to deliver the Champaign/strawberries to my room to surprise my wife on our return from a trip to town. That was disappointing. I had to call and request it. The room (#4 as... More

There are many positives about which to rave regarding the Castle Hotel and Spa. As other reviewers have noted, it is not a "cheap" establishment, but for a splurge, special occasion, or just to treat yourself, it's worth it. The positive points: You will not have to worry about parking, as it's all handled by valet. I had no complaints... More

The property is beautiful, as is the castle exterior. After paying so much for a room was pretty disappointed that our room wasn't even in the castle, it was in a different building completely, but the room was very nice none the less The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. The valet parking was a nice touch. The room itself was... More

We love staying at the Castle Hotel & Spa. I think this was our 5th time here. It's just a 30 minute drive from the city and so close to home. It makes for a perfect weekend getaway. Each room at the Castle is totally different. On this particular visit we decided to get a larger room than we ever... More

My wife and I spent an evening at the Castle and so enjoyed the setting, the hospitality and the beautiful grounds. Our king room was huge, beautifully decorated, and a perfect haven for our stay. We enjoyed sitting outside during Happy Hour and had a celebratory dinner at the restaurant. The turndown service and a welcoming plate of chocolate-covered strawberries... More

We routinely enjoy B&B and smaller hotels. This was disappointing. The desk attendants regularly ignored us coming and going despite us walking within arm's length of them, the restaurant hours are limited with no early morning coffee or tea available, the prices were very high for the service that we received and the mini bar was comically sparse. The room... More
