This place has many permanent sites and it doesn’t seem the rules apply to them. We stayed over a weekend and the group across and a couple sites down from us were loud, obscene and not considerate of others around them. They were like this Friday and Saturday till almost 1am. Quiet time is 11pm-8am according to the rules they gave us. Plus that site must be the party site because several other people came in golf carts and parked on the road blocking it for vehicles and pedestrians alike. It’s nice that you have lake access here but there is no bathroom at the pool and very cheap loungers. Another thing check in is 6pm which is ludicrous, never had we stayed anywhere where check in was later than 3pm. The KOA with the patio sites is much nicer. We stayed in a large class A motorhome, sites were tight, and there was rain and sites got muddy.

This is the place to come for some fun in the sun...Lots of things to do...Owners are great..People are all very nice & friendly. Highly recommend this place. The bathrooms are clean & there is a schedule letting you know what’s going on. I believe prices are reasonable as well.

Stayed here for the first time this past weekend. The campground is very clean and well maintained. The lady that I spoke with on the phone with on two occasions was extremely helpful and kind. They have everyday garbage pick up, a nice little fishing pond and a great little store for anything you may need. However.... I guess that I am used to state park campgrounds and not privately owned. The campsites are very close to each other, there is about only 10-12 foot between each site in the area we were in. The fire pits are very close to your vehicle parking. Basically the sites were just a little too close for me.

This is our 3rd season visiting Camp Chautauqua. Camp is family owned and they are attentive. Almost every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day has organized activities. This past weekend was the annual charity fundraiser for Camp Good Days - a camp for kids with cancer and other serious illnesses. Our site was well maintained. The staff was out every day cutting grass and garbage is picked up every morning. The shower house near us was clean and well maintained. Pool is large and heated. Dockage is available and inexpensive. Overall a nice place to get away!

This is our 2nd season here. Great for all. Summer weekends are full of fun activities. The off season is is surreal and pleasurable. Close to all shopping excursions if you need to.The camp staff and the owners are a pleasure and helpful. The Full hook-up sites are ideal and have plenty of room. Docking our boat made our 10 day vacation the best . Ask the right questions and you will get the best results here. This is a Campgrounds and the best that we have been to and will return to .
