As an attendee of the "Hoot" music event at the Ashokan Center, I stayed off-campus in the Toile room at ElmRock Inn. Delicious breakfast by chef who studied at Culinary Institute of America and in Europe, ...core of Inn built in late 1700s, comfortable bed, sound of birds outside, across from a farm, some traffic noise from Route 209, fireplace...

We were traveling from Long Island to attending my niece's baby shower in High Falls NY and were looking for a quaint B&B to make our trip a mini vacation. My husband booked the Elmrock and it was exactly what we were looking for. Kim and Mark, owners, did everything to ensure our stay was a pleasurable one. The day...

My partner and I enjoyed a relaxing evening and morning at this quaint, rustic bed and breakfast. Kim and Mark were very responsive and accommodating to our last minute plans. Enjoyed fresh sushi at Momiji Restaurant just down the road. Best of all was the absolutely delicious breakfast. Will recommend to our friends.

For the epicurean, this is a must stay place! The passion for culinary honesty and integrity are evident from the 2 course breakfast that changes everyday. We had stone ground oats with local apples with a squash, potato, cheese frittata on Sunday (all accompanied by locally sourced fresh apple cider, sausage and bacon and home made breads and fresh cut...

This was a charming Bed and Breakfast to spend the weekend in The Hudson Valley. What I loved was it wasn't one of those frou frou places covered in ball fringe and calico that make my masculine skin crawl. The main house was from the late 1700, early 1800's with a great spare quality. It just wasn't cluttered although there...

I cannot recommend the Elmrock Inn B&B, as my recent stay there was extremely disappointing. When we arrived an hour early for check-in at 3 pm we were greeted by a note on the front door informing us that the innkeeper had “stepped out” and would return the next morning. We had difficulty opening the door to our room on...

On arrival, we were greeted by a note taped to the main door instructing us to find our room through two barren attached houses and up a stairway. There, our key was in the keyhole, but needed prodding to work. The following day, it did not work at all. Innkeeper Mark Suszczynski does not answer telephone calls. Luckily, another guest...

The ElmRock Inn is great for a weekend getaway. The location is perfect. It's close to Mohonk and Minnewaska for hiking and rock climbing during the day and New Paltz for dinner and drinks in the evening. The rooms are quaint and beautiful, with a bit of a rustic feel to them. We spent a few nights in the Organdy...

Very nice bed and breakfast. We chose it because of its close proximity to Mohonk Mountain House, which we were planning to spend the day at. So, this was the perfect place to stay overnight, without having to spend $$$$ to stay at Mohonk! The only unfortunate thing was that we had to be at Mohonk at 9 am for...

WOW! What an incredibly special experience. The property itself is gorgeous-- dim little lamps lit the long pathway to the beautiful 1770's house, which made me fall in love immediately! The main dining room is gorgeous, with huge cathedral-style windows and tons of natural, old wood. The dining table is set perfectly, with a huge cabinet of vintage china in...

“The Toile room is the least expensive. It is top floor facing the street (but the bathroom insulates it from street noise.) It is too small to have a chair so you have to sit on the bed. It fit our needs well. All of the rooms look comfortable. Most have king size beds.”
