We visited on 6/21 - 6/23/2013. This B&B is on a charming, safe street, and the house is situated with a beautiful front yard and garden. The furnishings are beautiful antiques. Room had comfortable queen bed, ample space, and amenities such as complimentary bottled water, snacks. etc. There is a parlor with TV and books for guests, plus a well-stocked...

The house is wonderfull, the breakfast is delicious, absolutely perfect. The owner, Danuta, is a lovely person, she makes our stay confortable. It's really easy and fast to get down town New York without stress with the car and parking. Josianne & Sylvain

If you're planning to visit New York but then after a long day you prefer the calm and relaxation of a particular and well cared environment, this is your ideal b & b. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated Victorian. The breakfast is good and plentiful (perhaps too much!). Danuta Gorlach is really an excellent host and in the...

We had a wonderful experience. The hostess was wonderful. Breakfast was great with the fresh fruit salad each morning and then the variety of food. The bed were so inviting after a lot of walking throughout city. This is a place we would definately revisit.

Whilst it's all fine and dandy to stay in Manhattan, you will pay for the privilege. But why bother when you can stay somewhere unique as this? Victorian's host, Danuta, is a gracious and helpful lady who made us feel very welcome inside this enormous house. Built in the 1840's, it is really testament to how craftsmanship and taste were...

Danuta is a lovely host. she even helped us by driving us to our next B&B on Staten island (had to stay in two...

We stayed three nights in august in this charming B&B. The place is clean and the guest is ...top. You will appreciate the breakfast and probably learn about staten island "gangster history". The house is supposed to have welcomed some of them...a long time ago... If you're with children, it's perfect (two rooms + kitchen & shared bathroom). Staten island...

We stayed at this B&B in August. It is conveniently located for visiting New York City as the Staten Island Ferry is within easy reach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfast kept us going until well into the afternoon. The owner makes every effort to keep the guests happy. If we visit NYC again, we will definitely...

We stayed 5 nights at the beautiful b&b. The inn-keeper, Danuta is a lovely friendly lady who goes out of her way to please her guests. We stayed on the top floor of this 1850's Victorian home and it was just perfect. The room even has a sun room attached. The area is very safe and quiet. Breakfast is superb...

The house interior furnishings were lovely and the breakfast was good. The main problem is that the owner keeps the house HOT and does not try to cool it down even with window AC units. Absurd especially in the summer when guests are trying to escape the heat. When we arrived it was almost 10 p.m., and our room was...
