We stayed three nights at the Lodge to tour Manhattan. Our son is fascinated with public transportation so for us it was a great trip! We took the S51 bus from out front of the hotel to the ferry, and road the ferry to Manhattan. We toured Manhattan, Brooklyn, and went to a Yankees game. The staff at the lodge are...

Our family enjoyed our visit at the Navy Lodge on Staten Island! The rooms have been very nicely updated, have plenty of space and it was so nice to have had a full kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. Patricia, in particular, at the front desk was extremely kind, friendly and hard working. She was the first person we met at...

Very clean, comfortable beds and nice continental breakfast. This is a great place to stay if you love to travel on a budge. The base is small but has a nice little Coast Guard Exchange with a little of everything(clothing men/women's, alcohol, basic groceries/snacks/sofas) which is nice and handy and prices are much better then off base. Very friendly and...

We make a trip to Staten Island every Summer and The Navy Lodge is the best place to stay. It is much cheaper than any of the surrounding hotels and has drink machines, washers and dryers. In addition, most (if not all) of the local restaurants deliver to The Lodge. I don't care much for the big city so this...

Great room, great value. A short Uber ride to the Staten Island ferry. Enjoyed the tour of the Fort and had a large room! There was a refrigerator and microwave. In addition a large bathroom and two queen beds. Our family reunion was a blast!

We finally arrived at the Navy Lodge after driving all day and most of the evening from Sarasota, Florida. We negotiated, what felt like, a hundred freeways, toll booths, crazy traffic before finally arriving to the welcome peace offered by the Navy Lodge. As we walked into the lobby, our blood pressures began to lower as we were welcomed, offered...

Built within national parks, actual fort still stands with tours to see, goats on the property, fenced in of course, who are responsible for maintaining the landscaping that is impossible to keep with a lawnmower, They are beautiful and so is the property. Wonderful restauants on Hylan Blvd, accessible by car about l0 mins away. Luscious Italian sandwiches, and pastries,...

We have been staying at the Navy Lodge in Staten Island for many years and have always enjoyed the stay. This time was no exception, the ladies at the front desk and the cleaning staff when out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect. The Lodge has been upgraded since the last time we were there and...

The location is great if visiting New York. The lodge is located on a Coast Guard base, close to ferry and tons of restaurants. The rooms are large and comfortable with a kitchenette but very dark. The air conditioner in our room was very loud. The maids made our beds but left the trash. Front desk personnel were helpful.

We love staying at the Navy Lodge's anywhere because they are afffordable for military families-significantly cheaper than anywhere else in the area. This one was clean and the room was big but overall was just average. The A/C made a weird sound the entire time it was on, the shower stayed on hot and I couldn't turn it down, and...
