Best things best: my wife and I had an amazing dinner here. We had the cavatelli, a cod dish with vegetables and truffles, risotto fritters, and the winter greens salad. Everything was interesting and tasty. (We topped it off with donuts, because, and they were also great.) (We also had an excellent local sparkling rose.) We stayed the night, which... More

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Northfork Table and Inn and had a lovely time! Our room was clean and comfortable and had a nice updated country feel to it. The location is excellent for touring the local vineyards and is in walking distance to Southhold's nice village. We had dinner at the Northfork Table the night we... More

An all time favorite on the North Fork in the lovely town of Southold. I highly recommend mostly everything on the menu, and the Inn upstairs is lovely as well. They include delicious fresh baked breakfast goodies with your stay. Great review in the New York Times with the highest rating of "EXCELLENT" - Gerry Hayden and Claudia Fleming's legacy... More

We looked forward to a special Sunday brunch at this very special spot. We are foodies - and really were looking forward to the whole experience, as we've had before. Not so much - at least not yesterday. Omelette (with leeks and corn - odd idea to begin with!) was leaden and unseasoned. Pulled pork was not very appealing. They... More

We had heard that the food here would be really special, worth the price. We booked it a month ahead and I convinced our group it would be a special dinner. All 7 of us were seated early to a nice and cozy corner. First impression was a wet stain in the middle of my seat as if the last... More

You would not think of a smart table in a remote community of Long Island. It does exist though. We enjoyed the meal in this old renovated house, on immaculate white tablecloth and napkins. The halibut (flétan in French) was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable.

Lovely restaurant and wonderdul food. I ordered two appetizers for dinner. The beet salad with pistachios and goat cheese was delightful. The tuna tartare was perfect. One grandson had the largest hamburger with bacon and all the fixings. I'm not sure how he got his mouth around it. Another member ordered the lobster roll. It was stuffed with lobster. The... More

We've eaten here before and enjoyed it very much. Our dinner two nights ago was very disappointing. We started with rice balls. They were okay but nothing special. I had the appetizer size cavatelli with truffles. For 18 dollars it was a tiny portion of pasta in cream sauce with truffles that tasted like paper. It wasn't bad, exactly, it... More

I can't speak to the Inn portion of this place, but the restaurant is worth the drive from NYC + boroughs. It is the perfect start to, or a nice break from, a wine tasting trip. I had a lovely Sunday brunch here and could not be more pleased. The ambiance is very intimate and homey. Everything ordered tasted incredible... More

We had dinner as a family of 5. Our youngest was having a bad day but the staff was very accommodating. We ordered several different entrees including buttermilk chicken, halibut and strip-loin. All were delicious.
