Food was great. Jerry and Claudine are nice and easygoing hosts. Available 24 hours but not intrusive. The house itself is very comfortable, clean and the common room and bedrooms have beautiful furniture. The common room is set up well. Walking distance to the lake and a nice park there, around the Sodus Point lighthouse. I had to prepare for... More

This is my second trip to the Carriage Housing Inn and it was a trip worth repeating. This is such a wonderful gem in Sodus Point. The owner is very nice and served a wonderful egg casserole breakfast. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. You can relax on the porch or gazebo which is a short distance from... This place is the absolute definition of a B&B. While the house is not posh, It is quaint, decorated with care, and, overall, very well run. The inn keepers do all the work themselves--maintain the grounds, clean the rooms, vacuum the stairs, cook and serve the bountiful and decadent breakfasts. Simultaneously, we experienced privacy and the sense of staying with... More

Located in a quiet neighbourhood just walking distance from the lake and lighthouse. Looks a bit old on the outside but don't be put off by it, it's very clean and new on the inside. Our room was impeccably decorated in the nautical theme. It also had a neat little reading/relaxing area tucked in a corner with a cute Louis... More

Very nice place to spend the weekend. Lovely couple. The breakfast was so wonderful and the couple was very friendly. The house was like a doll house and very clean. It was the first time for us in a bed and breakfast and I was so nervous but it was a great experience

Very welcoming place. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely host. A couple of issues...chose this B&B because it had rooms with king size beds. The beds are actually two twin beds put together. The problem I have with that is twin beds are actually about 4 inches shorter than king beds so the bed was kinda short for my husband. In addition two... More

This was not my first choice for reservations, since we were primarily in the area to visit the Renaissance Faire, BUT I am so glad that the other inn didn't have enough rooms to accomodate our party. We needed 3 rooms to allow my husband and daughter, sister and BIL, and father to all stay together. They gave us the... More

This is a beautiful establishment located in Sodus. The owner was very welcoming and served a wonderful omelette breakfast. I noticed that he was willing to amend the breakfast selection for a party that wanted to deviate from the menu and stocked kid-friendly items. The room was clean and bright and we were able to walk to the beach and... More

The owners of the establishment couldn't have been nicer. They were very welcoming and let us have a breakfast with the extended family on a sunday morning. They were very generous letting us use their sitting room to visit with long lost relatives. The breakfast was delicious, and the service felt like family. We will definitely stay here again. I... We enjoyed our stay right next to the lake in a wonderful old victorian. My cousin was traveling with us so we booked the suite and shared the bathroom. Jerry and Claudine's breakfasts were wonderful! Our only critique would be that they try a different coffee. We were fine though, because their Keurig has a fine selection. Make sure you... More
