We returned to the point after 16 years of first visiting this amazing place. It is a truly special place and a unique experience. I've rated it 4 stars though as we had some service issues that I felt it did not live up to my previous experience or expectations. First of all, the good stuff. --The Point is on...

Wow! A perfect weekend in the Adirondacks. Our third visit to The Point, and it exceeded our high expectations. A Winter Wonderland of Christmas decorations and haute cuisine in a "Rockefeller Rustic" environment. About as good as it gets in this world. An incredibly welcoming cohesive staff who cater to your every request (and some you haven't thought of), who...

My Husband and I had such a wonderfully romantic stay at The Point! The service is impeccable, the rooms are so beautiful and the wood burning fireplace is a must, nothing worse than a boring gas fireplace without that pleasing aroma and crackling sounds. The chef is very accommodating to dietary needs and our dinner was exceptional! The Hacker Craft...

This lodge is spectacular!!! My family visited here a year ago as a retreat to just relax and unwind. We found it to be the perfect place for that, idyllic in its location and just as iconic in its style!

The Point is more than a singular resort, it is a singular experience. I've certainly never been anywhere quite like it, and have never heard of anyplace even remotely similar. It is the closest thing you can get to having guilt-free access to a billionaire's private home, bar, provisions and staff for as long as you care to pay the...

This was our second time to the Point. We could not have been more thrilled with this very lovely and unique place. We even got a chance to meet the new owner (Well, one of them at least) and she is amazing! This place is definitely what you make of it. If you want to mingle with guest for meals...

We visited The Point two years ago, and decided to return for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I was a little apprehensive - so often when you loved somewhere first time the return is a disappointment and we had such an amazing time - would this visit be as good? We arrived by car to be greeted warmly by staff including...

I was lucky enough to spend 2 nights at The Point last year in February after dreaming about this place for quite some time. It was a week end with my cousin visiting me in New York and we drove there on a cold snowy day. As soon as we arrived we were in another world. The snow storm had...

An experience for life. Just do it! Staff did their utmost to make our stay perfect, and perfect it was. Location is absolutely beautiful and secluded. Rooms and entire estate is very charming. Especially enjoyed taking the boats out on the lake. Hope to return some time in the future.
