When checking in I felt the attendant was extremely indifferent to me as a guest. It felt like she was disgusted by being there as a guest. Also, when I asked her to change rooms because the one I had smelled like mildew, she proceeded to tell me that none of the rooms smell. How is she going to tell me how I smell things?? Also, she made it feel like coming to ask for something was an inconvenience to her. When I also asked what was downstairs, she told me "Nothing. It's closed." This would have been a good time to tell me about what usually is down there or the other features of the hotel. She did none of that. Checking in during the afternoon with this hotel was horrible. I would never stay here again. Also, the Hilton company should rethink their oversight of their hotels. I feel like I wasted my $

The experience you have described is not at all what we are known for providing to our guests, so we have further investigated with our team members to find out the details surrounding your review. Upon speaking with all staff involved, we understand that our Guest Service Agent had provided you with all details regarding our hotel amenities, including the restaurant hours, and offered suggestions on local places to eat when the restaurant is closed. After checking into your room, you notified our Guest Service Agent of a musty smell in the room and asked her to smell it herself. Although she said that she herself did not smell anything musty, she apologized and happily offered to move your room right away to ensure you were satisfied with your stay. You had specific requests to have your room located on the same floor as your friends, so she gave you multiple room options to choose from, and you even provided her with an unexpected tip for all of the assistance she had provided you with. From this, we are confused by your review and the fact that you have made mention of such a poor experience, even after having tipped the specific team member who you are speaking poorly of. We strive to make each guest’s stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and we are sorry to see that you ultimately did not enjoy your stay with us. I hope you will give us a chance by staying with us again to show you that your unsatisfactory recap of your stay was an exception.

I kind of felt that I stepped back in time but I liked it. The room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. But the room did remind me of something from Austin Powers with white leather chairs and a murphy bed. It was fun. I did have a little problem with the AC control. I ate at the hotel bar/restaurant which was absolutely delicious! Kenny, the bartender was very friendly and told me all about "My Father's Place" history which is on site. I want to stay there again since it was close to lots of cute shops and a good location. There was also another little bar in near the lobby. Workout room was okay as well and cool shower.

Place needs to be totally refurbished - something out of the early eighties- limited service with luggage - no change of any kind at front desk - holiday inn express are much nicer - rooms smelled of mildew

I didn’t even stay. It was Friday evening after a wedding and we went to check into room 125 only to open the door to the smell of mildew. This was attributed to the recent storm which I understand but when my husband asked for a dehumidifier they informed us that they don’t have one. They said they have Lysol. We both have bad allergies if we would’ve stayed we would’ve been sick for days not to mention how can an establishment allow for that lack of cleanliness / air quality without concern for their guests safety and well being especially during times like these. I’m awaiting a refund for which they said will come in 7-10 business days. I’m a Hilton rewards member and this has not happened at any other locations in the past- though there weren’t recent storms before my stay at other locations. I just didn’t expect the lack of accommodation from a Hilton hotel. Rooms should not be available until they are thoroughly cleaned. Furthermore, the carpets are now damaged from lack of response to the storm. All they need is a dehumidifier to preserve the carpets - which is a mold and mildew trap. So btwn safety and cost effectiveness for the hotel, I don’t think they’ve got it together.

The Service was great! Restaurant was amazing. Had a great relaxing night. Anyone in the area or visiting should absolutely try. Staff was very good and knowledgeable. Decor of the rooms was great. Comfortable beds.
