This is the best bed-and-breakfast experience I have ever had! My family had a reunion in Rochester recently, and we all stayed at the Edward Harris House. On other occasions we have stayed at their cottages on Long Pond or the Genesee River. Susan and Manny greeted us with incredible hospitality on the evening of our arrival, making us feel...

Spent 4 nights here over MLK Jr weekend in 2017 for a family reunion. Susan and Manny were over-the-top accommodating and welcoming - affording our family an unsurpassed family reunion experience that would not have been possible without their hospitality. The house itself is spacious, clean, and anticipates every need (tea, cookies, books, magazines all at the ready). Each room...

My family has been choosing the Edward Harris House for lodging for many years. I grew up in a large family in Rochester, and we stay at the Edward Harris House or the River Cottage or Pond Cottage at least once or twice per year - pretty much every time we can. The inn itself is spacious, stunning and historic,...

The Edward Harris House in Rochester is a very beautiful Victorian Bed and Breakfast. I was delighted with its elegance and comfort. I also appreciated its location. It is quite close the the Eastman House and also Rochester's art museum. It is within walking distance of the Park Avenue shopping and dining area, which has a lot of elegance and...

The location, architecture, furnishings and cleanliness of this Inn is superior. The rooms are large and well fitted out. The cold and hot breakfast was delicious, including choice of ingredients in a 1-2-3 egg omelette, fresh fruit and a baked flan. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating.

We were there for 4 nights and loved it!! The owners Susan and Manny made us feel so welcome right from the start! We were going to Niagara Falls for one night and were prepared to pack all that we brought for a week, but Susan insisted we just leave everything we were not taking in the room......very thoughtful and...

Stayed in the garden suite for a lovely July 4th weekend in Rochester. The location was perfect with an easy walk to many different restaurants. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the house was truly a home away from home as we were able to reheat leftovers and enjoy them in the living room. If we come to Rochester again,...

My husband chanced on this beautiful Bed and Breakfast which is beyond your ordinary B &B. When I told my friends that we were going to Rochester, NY their first reaction was, why? Why not? We wanted to visit the Finger Lakes but didn't know which one or where to stay. Staying in Rochester afforded us the springboard needed to...

We have travelled extensively and the last thing we would describe ourselves as being is overly demanding. We thought we would inform our fellow travellers of our observations of this bed & breakfast. The positives: The house is gorgeous and the common areas are tastefully decorated. This area of Rochester is in a wonderful tree-lined Victorian houses area, within a...
