(Remember that the current owners have had this estate in their charge only since early 2015. As such, please disregard reviews that were written based on stays before this time.) George and Maryann, the owners, are absolutely fantastic people. They are genuinely invested in the community of Penn Yan, the history of the property, and their guests. It was a...

April and Neil, It makes our job so easy when we have incredible guests like the two of you. We appreciate your comments and I am working on new recipes with you both in mind.. Thanks for giving us "TALL" people a clue on bed height. There now is a foot stool for the backroom bed. Can't wait for your...

We were lucky enough to have our visit on their second week of operation. They were very inviting upon arrival, very friendly and allowed us to feel right at home. Our room was comfy and the breakfasts were awesome! Seconds were encouraged which was a welcome surprise. The property has a great history and our hosts enjoyed sharing their part...

We chose to stay at the Wagener Estate last week even though some of the previous reviews were not the best, we loved the location and the history of the property. In researching their web site found that the property was recently purchased by a direct Wagener descendent and had undergone renovations. The property is wonderful , the breakfasts were...

My husband and I like to travel and always stay at a B&B. The location is great but the décor didn't WOW us. Usually B&B's have a lot of charm. We stayed in the Delaware room and it was sufficient but didn't make us 'ooh and ahh'. Cathy the innkeeper was not very friendly - too business-like which we don't...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review the Wagener Estate. We just bought the property in December which is my great great great great grandparents home built in 1794. We are on a mission to bring back the WOW of this national and state registered property, our family heritage, this wonderful community, and the incredible finger lakes....

This was a very nice B&B, beautiful building, the grounds were lovely this time of year. Our room was super clean, the best extremely comfortable, the TV was a little small, but you don't go to a B&B to watch TV! Breakfast on the porch was a delight on a late summer morning. I'm a little irked at the previous...

Very pleasant experience staying at Wagener Estate while visiting Penn Yan. This was our first time staying at a b&b. House was very clean and the breakfasts were great. There is one baked good each morning, along with fruit, orange juice and coffee. The innkeeper, Kathy, puts a lot of thought into the breakfasts she creates. Day 1 was eggs...

Was a little weary about booking by previous reviews...shower to small, food so, so, and in-keeper to super friendly...but we took the chance and thought it was great! This house was so beautiful and date back to the 1700's, Yes, the shower was small...the house is old. The food was good...loved the french toast and the peach pancakes. Kathy asked...

The grounds are lovely as is the structure Bedrooms need better lighting for reading in bed and a newer tv. Bathrooms are small and shower so tiny it is tough to raise both arms to shampoo. Breakfasts were okay just uninspired. Overall the place was okay nothing bad but also require a return visit
