After working hard you want to really kick back when you are away for the weekend. This pleasant looking B and B with a reasonably good location should have fit the bill. Instead the inn keepers are super intrusive, way too chatty, insisting on your presence for wine tasting, everything including breakfast on their time schedule, long winded explanations of... More

'Jay'...our guests actually do return because of us...for 13+ years now! Just this weekend we hosted some of our favorite guests returning for their 10th/12th and 53rd stay (yep!), as well as some new guests. A terrific weekend with many frequent stayers. Let's review some details about your stay: On Saturday morning you were going to depart to 'get Advil'... More

My companion visited The Harvest Inn before and raved about its beauty, the warmth of the inn keepers and the gourmet delight of the breakfast. From the moment we arrived, it was clear why he loved to return over and over again. And now, I can't wait to return as well. It's clear why the Harvest Inn has been in... More

We could not have picked a more perfect get away on the North Fork - besides being perfectly located to do everything - lighthouse tour, wine tastings, brewery, farmers markets, and sightseeing - Darolyn & Chris made the weekend super relaxing and special. They are available to help you plan your day, help get reservations as well as give great... More

This was our first stay on the North Fork and it was great. The Harvest Inn is very welcoming and our room was large and very comfortable with everything you need. I loved the body lotion which was provided! Darolyn and Christopher are brilliant inn keepers - very helpful with suggestions for what to do, and definitely pay attention to... More

The owners/hosts are fabulous and made our stay in the area delightful. Feels like home. Darolyn could not have been more accommodating in helping us arrange bicycles, restaurant reservations, planning winery visits and ferry to our next stop. We will definitely go back if in the area. The grounds and the house are lovely. Chris is a chef and the... More

We've stayed at the Harvest Inn several times over the last several years and we enjoy our visits more and more each time. Darolyn and Christopher are wonderful hosts--helpful, thoughtful and generous with their time and ideas--and Chef Christopher's farm-to-fork breakfasts are unbeatable!! Our next trip, this coming November, can't get here soon enough.

Went with friends the weekend of August 12th, 2016. Our friends had stayed there many times and we had heard wonderful things about Darolyn, Chris, the food, the hospitality and the lovely accommodations. We were charmed from the moment we set foot on the property. It was all true! We felt like family but very well taken care of family!... More

We've been staying at the Harvest Inn on trips to North Fork wine country over the last five years - at least a dozen visits so far. Our last visit was just a week ago, and we love it more now than ever. We really enjoy the area, which is everything we want in a wine and culinary destination, and... More

We stayed for 3 nights on a Sunday - Wednesday. Beautiful Inn in a great location. Hosts, Darolyn and Christopher are awesome. Chris is a professionally trained Chef and it shows in the breakfast. Outstanding! They both know their wine and seem to know every vineyard (including the winemakers) and restaurant in the area. They can steer you perfectly based... More
