We have stayed about once a month in our pop up for the 2105 and 2016 seasons. Matt and his crew do an outstanding job, every bathroom and shower is clean, the grounds are maintained, they have activities and a very well stocked store. Security is onsite all night, every night; I have NEVER had sleep disrupted by a fellow...

Thanks for such a nice review. I will be sure to pass your compliments on to our housekeeping and grounds staff. They work very hard and the compliment is well deserved. Look forward to seeing you again this season!

The resort is great all year round. In the summer it is expensive but you can get a free shuttle to Water Safari and in the spring you can a get a site reasonably cheep. In the fall there are two cooking weekends and three Halloween weekends. They are also great in the winter, they are very helpful in trying...

Thanks for taking the time to review our campground. Our special events in the spring and fall are one of the best ways to have fun with the family! The Water Safari is one of my family's favorites as well. When the water park is open we run the shuttles on an hourly basis. So happy that you enjoyed yourself....

Don't get me wrong... I love this place in general... gorgeous scenery, great cabins, great service. This is my first time here in winter months, and it is mad snowmobile chaos! Instead of the quiet calm and smell of pine, the atmosphere is abundant with the sounds of speeding roaring snowmobilers and their exhaust. If you're coming here for that...

Thank you for the review. Some of our weekends during the winter months are busy and snowmobiling is an important part of our winter economy. The weekend you visited was probably the busiest snowmobile week of the season. There a multitude of quiet places you can enjoy within just a few miles of our location. On your next visit ask...

This is a really nice camping resort. We have booked to cottages in the past 2 months. They are so adorable! Little log cabins that are clean and very well kept. Two separate rooms with 2 bunk beds, can fit two families easily to sleep but a little small to spend a day in. Perfect if you will be out...

Thank you for such a nice review. Our staff prides it's self on providing a clean, friendly environment for campers during all seasons. Winter camping provides an opportunity to enjoy our nature in different ways. We are located within a few minutes of ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and ice skating opportunities. We are glad you enjoyed...

Be careful of their policies, after booking they can & DO raise prices WITHOUT notifying you prior to check-in. They raised prices on us and others on one of their busiest weekends, which is very sleazy if my book. Their reservations policies state, all rates are subject to change without notice, all changes and cancellations are subject to a $5.00...

Thank you for taking the time to review our resort. Our reservation policies are view-able online, communicated at the time of booking, and are included in your emailed confirmations. The policies are put in place for a several reasons and customer satisfaction is one of our main concerns. Most business who provide accommodations have similar policies in place and these...

As I am getting older, I have taken step up from tent camping to staying in a cabin - less gear to bring, not sleeping on the ground, heat if needed and walls to protect from the wildlife. Heeded other reviewers comments and brought sleeping pads for the beds. We didn't see any bears but did have a persistent racoon...

Columbus Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the year for us. On Sunday when you came in we are at around 50% occupancy. Housekeeping works around the clock on busy weekend to ensure a clean, safe environment for everyone. It can be tough for them to maintain the restrooms after they go home at 10 pm. Sleeping...

I must first say that we have coming here for a number of years. When we started coming here we had a average size camper (25-27ft) we didn't have any issues with the size of the sites, yes some of them were uneven but we made do. We used to come here on Paddlefest weekend and we usually had a...

Thanks for your review Chris. We are a large camping resort and as you indicated the campers keep getting larger and the sites simply do not. With larger campers it is always a good idea to keep a list of preferred sites and, if available, we will book you into one of the specific sites you would like. We do...

We stayed with our 2 youngest children (2 and 4) in a regular cabin (no bathroom) and used the bath house. It was pretty much as expected since we have been coming here for as long as they have been (since they were a KOA). I call these kind of accommodations "light camping" haha. Everything was ok except the bears....

If you're looking to get back to nature then this is the place. The trail around the lake was beautiful with lots of things to see. The staff was absolutely perfect. Thank you for the glowing review. We will pass your compliments on to our housekeeping staff regarding the cleanliness of the facilities. They certainly deserve the compliment. For future visits grab some cracked corn at the local grocery store for the duck. Corn is a more natural food source and does not contain the starches that white bread has. Wait...
