We stayed at the Aria Villas, which is coupled with the Aria Suites, for 2 days with our 2 kids, 12 & 14. The property is gorgeous and the room was very large! We had a 1 bedroom villa with two full bathrooms and private indoor and outdoor soaking pools. It was perfect! The view is stunning, everything you expect from Santorini. It is a two minute walk to Fira, with lots of shopping and restaurants. Stacy and Alex were amazing! It was like there were 8 of them, with how much they did for us and everyone else. They really made our experience exceptional. Our kids want to come back and work there next summer and I can’t imagine better people to teach them hospitality and work ethic. I would recommend the Aria Suites and Villas to anyone that is headed to Santorini.
Stayed near end of May. Room was not ready so they stored luggage while we explored, Hotel has great location at the beginning of a foot path to shopping/restaurants. The view is incredible, could have happily relaxed at the pool everyday. The suite (Tosca) was perfect and clean (such a comfortable bed!) - I worried that being on the pool level would be noisy but that was not the case. There was a seating area in the front of the suite where breakfast would have been served (but it was too windy). Breakfast was AMAZING many food choices and all excellent. There was also a nice patio area in the back off the bedroom that looked into a garden. Would absolutely stay here again!
When you dream of Santorini and the views I rated Aria Suites a 10 out of 5 stars!! We arrived approximately 6:30 pm and the sun doesn’t set until 9:00 pm. We were greeted by Michelangelo (talk about a quintessential Greek representative) and Estacia (equally as delightful). They couldn’t be more welcoming or delightful. They checked us in asked us what we preferred for our breakfast (basically choice of eggs, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, and a gigantic basket of assorted breads that will keep you sated until dinner). They did assist us with our huge bags as our suite was located a small walk up an incline and a few flights of stairs. Let me tell you the walk and stairs were completely worth it!! Holy moly!! It was worth every penny! Our suite had an outdoor hottub situated at one of the highest points on the property with a view that overlooked the caldera and the beautiful brown of Fira. I’m talking breathtaking! If you walked just left up the hill you were among many shops and restaurants. On your walk from the check in to the suite you pass two restaurants and a bar with the equally stunning view. Our suite had another hot tub inside as well as two showers, a king sized bed and a generous pull out sleeper sofa, a refrigerator and kitchen table. Michelangelo sent a bottle of champagne which we enjoyed the first night watching the beautiful sunset. We also took an incredible catamaran swimming and sunset cruise. Save your money and don’t upgrade to the “liquor” versus beer/wine cruise. They gave you beer and wine throughout and only promised alcohol AFTER dinner. It turned out to be two choices of pre-made sugar filled mojito or mai tai choices - awful. Stick to the beer and wine. Michelangelo arranged for transport on many nights to dinner and for the cruise and the pricing and comfort were exceptional. He also recommended a restaurant that had equally stunning views of the sunset at a beautiful beach club bar/hotel/restaurant. Although pricey it was worth the splurge - Veneze was delicious. I will say we continued in to Mykonos but Santorini has my heart. I must say that a major reason is the stay at Aria Suites and the exceptional service shown by Aria Suites and staff. They were welcoming, warm and wonderful! I hope to return soon!…
We traveled here for our honeymoon in May 2022 and stayed in the La Vide Breve villa. Villa and location The views and villa are every bit as beautiful as what you see in the pictures and even better. There is one heated jacuzzi outside the bedroom and another on the roof. The privacy is very good (by Santorini standards) since you are close to the top of the caldera. The villa also has a living room balcony with excellent views. There are two bathrooms and toiletries refreshed daily. If there is one less than 5 star thing about the villa it’s that the bed and pillows are not the best. Everything else more than met expectations however. Service The service was fantastic from checkin until after checkout. Everyone we came in contact with was more than willing to help. When we checked out I mistakenly had the wrong place to meet the taxi so we had to lug our bags to the correct spot. The gentleman who helped us bring our bags to the original spot saw us and came over to help us bring our bags to the correct location after he had already done it once. Food The breakfast was fantastic with eggs pancakes and pastries. They bring it to you every day right on schedule (which you can customize).…
Simply stunning. It is the only way to describe the Resort, and Santorini. There are maybe 8 Suites on the property. The car service lets you off about 100 feet from the hotel, down the “street” as cars cannot drive on the walk (but scooters can, so you need to watch). The staff grabs your luggage and brings to reception, which is a little room on the same level as the path. Once checked in the take you up a short flight of steps (outside) and you are just stunned by the beauty. The view from our Suite, right in front of the property (second level) is incredible from the balcony off the living room. The Suite is large and airy. Breakfast is included and is amazing. I had Eggs Benedict all three mornings, in our room and on the Balcony. Everyone working there works very hard to make everything perfect for you. As an example, our friends and us changed our breakfast order for the last morning there, and then we went off a full day (9 hour) tour of the Island. The gentleman, Michael Angelo, must have misplaced his notes, so when we got back at almost 9 in the evening, he was waiting for us to make sure he had the order correct. Thera is absolutely stunning.…
When we arrived the person at the front desk was very helpful and showed us to our room which was an incredibly huge suite with a private entrance. The view was gorgeous, I took so many photos! There were lounge chairs and a pool as well. In the morning a staff member brought us a huge breakfast spread and cleaned the room while we were out. Highly recommend!
The location of this place is outstanding. Honestly, you couldn’t pick a more accessible place. Santorini is an island of extreme slopes, labyrinths and alleyways - I can’t imagine how some people even find (let alone get their luggage to) some of their hotels. This place is literally in the heart of Fira (which is DEFINITELY the place to stay) but seemingly still maintains a quiet, relaxing air as it sits on its own isolated mini-peak. Spitting distance to many great restaurants and the shopping district. Supermarket just around the corner if required. Views of caldera are truly outstanding, especially at sunset. Our suite (Carmen) was lovely, spotless and well-proportioned. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing I will say is, in common with all traditional-style Greek villas, is that sound travels. Depending on how noisy your upstairs (or downstairs) neighbour is or the weather outside, you may wish to bring some ear plugs just in case :-).…
We loved it here. This is such A special place with A wonderful staff in a perfect location - quiet with breathtaking views. We spent three nights in the Carmen suite and if it wasn't for flight restrictions, we would have stayed longer. I wish we had. The suite was spacious and comfortable for A family of four. Breakfast was incredible and plentiful - delivered right to your patio. Book it. You won't be disappointed.
Before I begin please note: if you are handicap or have some sort of disability, or walking up hills is hard for you this might not be for you. The taxi can only bring you up to a certain point and the rest you will have to walk yourself and your luggage (its short walk but good for people to know in advance). 10-15 min drive from airport. I also recommend renting a car at the airport as the taxi will cost you $25 euro and with the amount you might spend on cabs depending on your plans, its easier to have a car. There is a parking lot nearby -free- its down the hill by the supermarket. very convenient. If you can afford to stay here DO IT. Aria overlooks the caldera view (volcano)... it is something you can literally never get sick of. Every morning you wake up and its like you're seeing it for the first time. Breakfast was served every morning outside which was lovely. Every suite has their own table (overlooking the pool and caldera view) and you can decided what time you would like to eat every morning, as well as what you want them to serve you. The breakfast was great! Fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, coffee, yogurt... really delicious. The staff are excellent, very accommodating and very friendly. Very clean location, the suites are nice and comfortable with a mini fridge. Restaurants/bars/views all walking distance (we recommend for dinner: Barolo (right outside of the hotel), La Colline Restaurant (5-10 min walk from aria - Pricey but the view is INSANE-need reservation), for brunch/dessert -Iriana Cafe (3 min walk- also great views). If you rent a car make a reservation at Amoudi Fish Tavern in Oia right on the water. Its about a 20 min drive and the sunset there is stunning. The pictures that you see posted for Aria are accurate. Everything is perfect and beautiful and we had an amazing trip. The one thing I didnt like was that housekeeping would come at like 2-4 pm and that was around the time we would come back to change and get ready for dinner . I think they should come earlier in the day. Also, in the evening someone enters your room and puts in fresh towels and cleans the garbage and toilet. Its nice to do but I wish they would tell you they do that when you first check in. I many times left my things out and i didnt like that someone was going back into the room when i was out.…
Our villa just a 100m or so from the hotel's reception was ideally located at the top of FIera close to the main drag with a number of good restaurants. The views were superb and we had our own little plunge pool which came in handy. The villa was spotless, cleaned twice daily, the breakfasts sumptious and varied each day. The best of all were the staff, thanks Stacy, Omar, Alexander and the great (and friendly housekeeping staff) for the suggestions, the arrangements and really for everything you did to make our stay fantastic. Big thanks to you all from Peter, Christoff, Anton and Stewart.
