The owners reside in the hotel and they manage everything from the front desk to the kitchen. They are extremely helpful to the hotel guests and also provide every information which a tourist requires and makes life in Santorini very simple. It is a beautiful property and a must visit for people looking for a very comfortable stay.

Very nice and beautiful hotel. Melina and all the staff they are very friendly and disponible. Clean rooms, good instalation and a very good localization. If you what to go to Santorini is a nice hotel to stay and the localization is very nice because you are in the middle of the island and to get anywhere is very simple.

Lovely view from hotel. Huge pool with pool loungers to relax. Ensuite a bit small but OK. Room size great with comfortable bed. Too much pastries at breakfast, but the best ever chocolate croissants, will always remember that. Become my favourite to have at home. Great location, less than 5 minutes from the Caldera, buss terminus & the shopping areas

Very clean & spotless boutique hotel. Just a short stroll into the main part of town (5 mins max) & perfectly just outside the hustle & bustle. We had a room at the front of the hotel with beautiful ocean views from the balcony. Our room was quite spacious - plenty of room for our 10 month old to crawl...

The hotel is in a good part of Fira, since it is away from the center and in a quite part of Fira but also within a five minute walking distance away from the center of the town and the caldera. I must say that the rooms are in need of a good renovation. Our room was quite compact as...

My bedroom was clean, but dated & the bathroom was VERY compact. A large person would have had great difficulty showering. However, the terraces were nice, with views, including the excellent, good sized pool. The town is only a small walk away, which is a great bonus.

There was a man at reception who was so unfriendly that we didn,t have the courage to ask him anything. We asked about the cablecar and he said there was nothing to see. We heard from other tourists that we could have gone down with the cablecar and up with the donkeys. We are sad that we didnt do it....

Dear Sirs, I am Yiannis Konstantinou the owner and the manager of hotel Melina that you saw in the reception. After the information that we gave you about the island and the city of Fira, when you arrived, you asked me about the cable car. I told you that there is nothing to see down to the old port and...

Are they paying people to write good reviews. Dirty, unsanitary beddings, broken equipment, lied about buffet and rude staff. I didn't pay to listen to a dog bark at night either. The brochure is nothing like the hotel looks in reality.
