Beautiful hotel - it’s a quiet hidden gem in the middle of the busy town of Fira. Close to shops, restaurants and just a short walk to the amazing caldera view. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. It’s got the feel of a small boutique hotel. Loved it and would definitely go back.
We have just returned from staying seven nights at the Winery Hotel. Its located in the heart of Fira with easy access to all local attractions. The rooms are all unique, having originally been a working winery. The staff work extremely hard to keep the hotel spotlessly clean and rooms stocked with toiletries, pods for the Nespresso machine and clean linen and towels. An extensive breakfast is provided daily. We unfortunately had a problem with the breakfast over a couple of days, this was nothing to do with the hotel but they went out of their way to correct things. All the staff are friendly and very approachable but I have to give a big thank you particularly to Katai, the day manager, for all her help and kindness during our stay, she made our trip very special.
Very unique boutique hôtel. Safe secure clean very friendly staff. Cool to order breakfast delivered to a little table right outside your room by the swimming pool. Centrally located but it’s like a little oasis in the middle of a very busy place. Great beds good ac and very quiet. Chris recommended the Taverna Trania across the street. Look no further for the best seafood salad anywhere.
This was a great find. We needed a place to stay for our final night in Santorini and came across Winery 1870. We booked and stayed on the same day, so did not have too much in the way of expectations. As soon as we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. The service was great, rooms were immaculate and on the larger side. Location is ideal and can easily walk to the market, square and restaurants. In all, a great stay. Represented one of the best value for money hotel's we've stayed at.
Very warm welcome by Antonio with lots of useful information, with a glass of the beautiful wine famous in this area. Our room was stunning with a separate jacuzzi cave and like the whole hotel was cool and elegant. The pool area is stunning and peaceful and in compete contrast to outside the walls which is the bustle of Fira. Breakfast is ordered the night before, as much as you want of bacon, eggs, sausages, fruit, bakery items, Greek yoghurt, juice, teas and coffees and served outside on your table and chairs at the time you order it for. Everything was delicious! We also had food from the Italian restaurant next door which serves as the hotels restaurant and it was really lovely. Thank you to Chris who was so hardworking but always had time to stop and chat with my husband! Will definitely return here!…
I had an amazing experience at this hotel, the location, breakfast and room were really nice. Special thanks to Antonio, he was very professional and truly made us feel at home. He was helpful at all times and his attention to detail was really appreciated. I won't hesitate to recomend it to anyone. Thank you!
Small and cozy hotel just in the centre of Thira. We stayed in a room with old historic walls and whole atmosphere was captivating. As well super friendly and helpful staff, always with a smile and wish to please the guest. Hotel serves nice breakfast with few different choices for pick up. Big parking lot is only few minutes away.
From the moment we arrived from airport, we were greeted by Christos who met us by the taxi to help us with our suitcases. He welcomed us to the hotel with warmth and checked us in very efficiently. The rooms are new and tastefully decorated. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the details of the bathrobe and slippers. The hotel is in the middle of Thira which was very convenient to all the shops, views, restaurants /bars. The breakfast was a real highlight especially for my father in law who loves his big breakfasts in hotels. All the staff were friendly and helpful to ensure we had a VIP transfer to the port for our ferry to another island. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel is gorgeous and the service is outstanding as well. Free wine at check in, generous breakfast, and really luxurious, beautiful rooms. Location is central and walkable to everything in Fira. Although there is no caldera view, the amazing hotel more than makes up for it for its price, and views are just a short 2 minute walk away. The family suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is a godsend for people traveling with a group or couples!
Beautiful hotel in amazing location and most amazing staff. Everything is walking distance: bus to Oia, restaurants, small supermarkets, bike rentals, square with pharmacy and ATM. Boho style room decor, Jo Malone toiletries, amazing and comfy bed, great shower. Cleanliness on high level. Hotel offers food from next door Italian restaurant and everything we tried from the menu was excellent. Breakfast is ordered day before and is waiting for you at the time you choose. All staff amazing from check-in to check-out but big big thanks to Antonio, he made our stay really memorable.
