Very nice luxurious, upscale hotel, very well located if you wish to drive through the Beaujolais region. The room was spacious and wisely decorated. The staff is very professional and very courteous. The gastronomic restaurant is excellent. The decor is very nice and the food is excellent. We will go back to that hotel should we return to Ige.

We had flown into Frankfurt, and set off right away for Cannes in a rental car. This area was about the mid point on our drive, it was getting dark, and we were tired. I found this place on my iPhone and I wanted my family to have a nice experience after a long flight and a long drive. They...

We had a wonderful stop over here on the way down to the South of France. Staff veryfriendly, room spacious and comfortable, food was exceptionally good, both late supper and an early breakfast, overall we would thoroughly recommend. Having read the few recent criticisms I would say they are a little on the picky side. Yes the place is a...

I had booked this Chateau many months in advance with detail instructions about the type of room we needed. We are an older couple and really can't do stairs. The reception and the room were superb (very large modern bathroom, entrance hall into a large bedroom and sitting area.) We had no difficulties what so ever in the location of...

The entrance was lovely, the staff too were very kind but just wasn't quite finished off to the standard that one might expect of a 4 or 5 rating. The bedroom felt very cosy but in a slightly dated B&B fashion, the bathroom was old and the toilet was crammed behind a leathery fabric door that was very tacky. The...

Wonderful accommodations, excellent restaurant and staff, beautiful part of the world. The room had a beautiful view across a hillside of vines from the tower window. A large bedroom, separate sitting room and a very large bathroom. Would return in a heartbeat.

We returned to Chateau d'Ige after a gap of seven years. During that time the management has changed and it is even better than before. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the receptionist who showed us to our room and helped with our luggage. We had a suite on the second floor of one of the towers. It had...

We stayed in this lovely Chateau with our family this summer during a reunion nearby. We were given a suite in one of the towers which was perfect - with an area for the kids upstairs. Everything about the Chateau was simple magical and the gardens were fabulous. Breakfasts were nice, and lunch in the Chateau restaurant was a real...

My wife and I stayed at this beautifully restored Chateau located in the delightful Macon countryside. The dining rooms were charming and the cuisine, both breakfast and dinner, was outstanding. Rooms are huge, quiet and well equipped with very comfortable bed. Breakfast, pre-dinner drinks and canapes are served in the delightful garden setting if the weather is suitable. We would...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Chateau d'lge. THe rooms are not perfect not would I expect them to be at a chateau of this age. But the towels are soft , the bathrooms modern and the sheets are great quality. The owner takes you to you room and could not be nicer. The staff is quick to...
