As first timers we spent our family vacation in this extraordinary Safari lodge. From a slightly elevated location you have a wonderful view over a beautiful landscape. The five apartments offer a luxury standard in an authentic African style. Barend with Marné and their staff...More
This is my second trip to Nedile Lodge and I thought the first time was fantastic, but our second visit has exceeded all expectations. The hosts, General Managers and guides John and Dominique, could not have done more for us. The food, the dining experiences...More
I would definitely recommend this place. Incredible location with breathtaking views the game drives were excellent. Barend our ranger was as knowledgeable as all previous posters have alluded too.

Nicest rooms we saw during our 3 week tour. Loved the outdoor showers and the little extras that appeared in our rooms each night. The game is very accessible, particularly the Rhinos that seemed to be hiding around every corner. The lions put on a...More
I have never written a review. But our stay at Nedile logde deserves one. From the reception by the full staff, the excellent meals, the most comfortable lodge, and amazing game drive lead by Barend, our stay was just an amazing visit.

Nedile Lodge is unfortunately not a kids friendly establishment and we have a 10 years old minimum policy. It is situated in Welgevonden Game Reserve with no electric fences around it. Elepants come and drink water at the swimming pool and roam freely around the rooms. We also have leopard around. We prefer to be truly part of nature without artificual fencing. There are, however, other lodges in Welgevonden that are fenced and that can accommodate kids.

October is usually quite hot already - I would suggest comfortable summer clothes and maybe a sweater for the evening game drives. Other than that, nothing specific - what ever you are comfortable in. :)
