Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was an amazing experience. It was just a quick overnight. But the hotel is amazing with views and rooms. So clean and great friendly staff. Good location for the falls as well as short store walks.

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The view from our window was nothing to look at but we were there for the Falls and the proximity to them made up for it. Definitely would stay there again!

We were staying for 1 night in August 2022, with handicap Child, All was good, May be bit "poor" menu in Starbucks for the breakfast, but a lot cafe just around the corner. BUT, when we were back home, we found out, that hotel took double payment for us! We tried to contact them by email, and u can’t find the direct email to the hotel. Ok, we wrote to complain form to group email, they replayed in 1 week, were feeling sorry, and …disappeared! So, this case, unfortunately damaged our opinion about the hotel. Money still not refunded. 🤷‍♀️💩

The hotel is average at best, and on top of that, the fire alarm is ANCIENT, doesn’t work well, and barely woke us up. We had an incident where the fire alarm went off at 12am, and an entire fire drill occurred before we even realized what happened. By the time we got downstairs, the fire department had already cleared the building! Multiple people were able to attest to the same story as us. I felt bad for the many families with kids who were woken up overnight—but, at least if there were a real fire, they knew to get out of the building ASAP. Very scary!!!! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the manager, named April, was helpful/caring and gave us a refund.

Me and my wife stayed here in 2019 and liked it. Room was nice and we had no issues. Loved the restaurant in the hotel. Stayed here this weekend and we were disappointed. Parking garage had areas roped off which made parking horrible. Parts of the building in the front were missing concrete. Our room was OK showed signs of wear. Had to take a lukewarm showers and was told to run the hot water for a while to get the lukewarm water. The shower floor looked dirty. The restaurant no longer exists. Bar only open from 6p-11p and only served beer and wine. Bartender was nice. Only breakfast was Starbucks. Was not worth the money we paid for the weekend. Last time we stay there.

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned hair and dirty spots everywhere!!! The employees were very unfriendly. Drink or breakfast service didn’t really happen because the bar/Starbucks was mainly closed or opened +50min late. Do not recommend this hotel to any family, not for the price anyways!!

Came in on a Thursday. Saw online they were booking 2 queen beds and all the works for 150$/night. Came in, they told me the cheapest room available was $259/night. And it was a queen bed. I was so tired from driving all day so we decided to stay. They tacked on another 100$ worth of fees on top of the $259. Fees listed were: state tax 8%, occupancy tax 6%, destination marketing fee?? 22.50, a $30/night parking fee. All of which were not mentioned until after I booked. They mentioned our room view would be of Niagara/the casino but it was in fact the parking lot facing the opposite direction. Room was fine. Clean I guess for the standard. But outdated. Random stain on the wall, and a clump of hair on the toilet seat even after waiting 2 hours to check in so they could “clean.” Shower was cold being cranked on the hottest for a good 5 minutes. Then it only boiled. The hallway leading up to our room on our floor smelled like burnt cheerios. Elevator stops at whatever floor presses the button. Not in the order the request was taken so we were constantly getting stuck in the elevator as well. Starbucks wasn’t open the duration of the stay either. The location was realistically the only good part about this stay. Within walking distance to the falls and other oddball locations nearby. Made it fun and easy to walk to the falls to see it at night. Overall, would not stay again.

This Hotel is an unsafe building. The building sways, if you are sensitive to being on a boat it will make you dizzy. Half of the parking garage is roped off because the concrete is falling down. Water from the pool is leaking into the garage and causing the building to be unstable. Also the carpet in our room was so dirty that when we took a shower upon checking in, our feet were black. We had not walked anywhere that day.

Great staff, location, and clean! But the hotel itself is very dated and just truly needs to be rebuilt. They did what they could cosmetically and it is kept very clean but the elevators are terribly slow and you never really know what floor they were gonna drop you on, bathrooms are kinda updated but small and the vent fan didn’t work in ours, and the wall of windows in the room are extremely drafty I believe them to be original windows.
