This is a complaint about the Seneca Resort Casino in Niagara Falls... My husband and I traveled from New Jersey to the Seneca for our 13th year wedding anniversary because upon looking online it was rated 5 stars and was supposedly said to be adult only.... and to my surprise nothing about Seneca was 5 stars! I will walk you through my entire experience, when arriving I first noticed the doors were filthy it’s covid they should be constantly wiped, stepping in there was an almost empty dirty vending machine, the walk through the casino smelled unpleasant and could be smelled through my mask, now to the elevators and use of the key to get to your room complicated and unexplained, now to the room nothing to wow about, then we went for lunch at three sisters, then the next day Tim Hortons for breakfast (we were anticipating KOI which was closed on a Tuesday and was listed as open on the website! The entire casino food experience was terrible and stale and not to mention everything was closed after 10pm except for Three Sisters and that 1 worker was disoriented and overwhelmed! Where is your food court!!!!! SMH So terrible that we had to go to McDonald’s for fulfillment! Now to the shower experience smh the towels leave a ton of lint all over your body it’s disgusting! We went to try to find a drink because after all this we definitely needed one and low and behold NO DRINKS it’s a casino for god sakes! Oh oh and the best part is it was kids (little kids maybe 5-9) in the casino on the gambling floor! Who wants to see that while gambling! They should not have been let in! This experience was horrible and I would never ever return or refer anyone here! It’s a mess! 5 stars where???

We Stayed at the Seneca during our visit to Niagara Falls. Our room was great with views of the falls. The hotel was very clean, friendly staff and even got a little lucky at the casion. Great location and walking distance to Niagara Falls Park. I wouldn't mind choosing this location for future trips to the falls. I also loved that it is an Adult only property.

When you enter the hotel it’s nice and welcoming, great location close to the Falls. The room was ok except the cleaning could be better, crumbs on the chair and floor, bottom sheets not tucked in the beds, the heat did not work properly. We’ still in a pandemic, they seemed short staffed, they need to clean better, they only clean when people check out of rooms. If I go to a hotel I’m wiping and spraying but not sweeping up crumbs. The casino was not good to us, they said if we signed up for their card we would get $15 in free play but everyone I asked in the casino seemed clueless. The lines at the restaurants were long and everything closes early for a weekend, yes I think 10 is early. We wish the spa was open (one reason for choosing this hotel). This hotel is expensive on the weekends but if I ever come that way again I might stay again. They check temperatures to get in casino but not hotel that really defeats the purpose. The elevators need a better system, the sign says only so many in elevator bay at a time but the guards don’t enforce it. First time traveling since 2019 some improvements are needed.

It’s a shame, that beautiful hotel, have a very poor cleaning system, after 4hr of travel, was our wedding anniversary, we check in like 11:30pm when we gen in to the beautiful room the bathroom sink dirty and full of hair, I request to someone to clean the sink, and the housekeeper very rude came to me and bring me a chemical bottle and wash cloth, and she said “you have to cleaned by yourself” I explain the lady I found the room like this condition I’m not going to clean something not mine, I ask the wonderful lady of FD to Change the room and she did it, but the second room have a huge smell and cigarette and the floor full of hair. We was very tire to complain, next day I ask the rude lady of FD to send someone to spray something in to the room and they didn’t. The last day of the checkout, I went to the FD the lady never said a good morning or to see if be possible a 30 min for late C/O that said have to charge a half fo day. Sadly this teams Need they learn and need to be more courteous to guests, they never said good morning or good afternoon this detail!!! It’s very said a beautiful hotel miss this detail I’ll never stay anymore.

My husband and I were craving a quick trip for our anniversary after being on lockdown for several months. We opted to take a drive to Niagara Falls NY. We figured this would be the perfect time to see what is on the US side, since we always head straight to Canada any other time, and the Canadian border was AND STILL IS CLOSED!!! The Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino was the only casino hotel on the U.S. side, so we opted to stay here for this reason. First off. this hotel is MASSIVE, but we felt very comfortable there as they were very strict about social distancing. They were checking ID's at the door to ensure you were from a neighboring state of NY. They also took temperatures each time you entered and exited. I loved this hotel. The décor was pretty and the room itself was very relaxing. The room ws spacious and we had an awesome view of the Canadian side. The parking lot was huge, though a litttle confusing checking in, especially if you opted not to park valet. Fortunately we ran into a really nice bellhop who took brought us a luggage cart and took our luggage to our room. Everything about this place screamed we are here to take care of your needs! The only thing that I didn't like was the Blues Burger Bar restaurant. Though the burgers were huge, they were very bland, I couldn't' finish mine. We visited the 3 Sisters Café several times for breakfast, desserts and appetizers and were pleased with their menu. We also picked up breakfast one day from Tim Horton's. Though it was nice to have 2 good restaurants onsite, I would have liked to try the other restaurants, but nothing else was open while we were there, due to COVID. I loved having a casino in the building, though the slots weren't that good to us this visit. We would return again on another trip to Niagara Falls, NY.
