We stayed here on the MLK holiday weekend in January 2017 in a Ocean View King room, which did overlook the parking lot but that actually wasn't a big deal. We had a lovely view of the ocean and the terrace on the room was nice in the winter as well to get some fresh air and to look at...

All of our rooms have Ocean Views and I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed the newly renovated rooms and especially the bed. Gurney's provided a tremendous opportunity for your professional conference. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and it facilities are being updated to a "modern beach" theme with more renovations planned. The facility managed our 200 attendees with an attentive staff. Of note, were three staff members that went over and above, Ginny in event planning and accommodations, Chuck...

We are a group of six well-travelled women who planned a two night spa weekend at Gurneys. It's been a while since we've been together, so we didn't mind splurging for a high end weekend. We were let down from the moment we entered the lobby. There was no bellman to help us with our bags up and down steps...

My company worked on event here with Ginny Davis - she's an amazing planner, and so attentive and personal. All the guests were tremendously happy. Looking forward to going back to Gurney's next time. The food is incredible, and while their conference facilities, aren't enormous, they are very nice. The staff all around is polite and attentive.

We stayed one night, and were assigned a recently renovated room which was done in what I'd call modern beach house style. For the price I could have done with out the snow plowing at four in the morning and I think it's downright outrageous that they would charge over $500 a night just to have a room that's right...

Dear Jenn P, Thank you for the feedback and as discussed in my email to you, we appreciate the feedback and want to create an unique experience for our guests during their stay. This isn't luxury, just expensive. The attendant didn't help with bags. The shower was gross and leaking. The waiter said we'd have to order all our food at once since the chef needs to time it. And the room I booked wasn't what I thought I was getting. On the bright side, the food and drinks were excellent. The gym...

I went to Gurneys over New Year's eve. I have not been there since they renovated. The renovation is nice, and a lot of work was put into it. However, the price for the service was below 3 stars. I have stayed at Gurney's sporadically for almost 10 years. While the overall experience was generally good in the past, each year there's something that makes me scratch my head. Loved my recent winter stay at Gurneys. The room was fantastic, newly renovated & spacious. However the restaurants were overpriced and not that great. Truly, you are better off going to some of the more relaxed & better quality restaurants in Montauk town.
