The "hotel" did not really meet pur expectations. We visited Vetiver during New Years - a really high season, I know, so the price we paid per night was 250$. We were aware that we should not expect anything fancy from an inexpensive hotel located outside Manhattan, but Vetiver was still a pretty shocking experience. The room was untidy (terrible...

This is an awesome hotel. Very close to subway. Awesome family owned grocery/deli next-door. Food was delicious. We had a gorgeous view of the city. This was perfect for us. Room was clean. Desk clerk was very helpful upon check in. They held our luggage because we got there before check in time, so we could go ahead and start...

We stayed over Christmas. We had a room on the 8th floor with a kitchenette. This was rather disappointing in that there was one saucepan and a coffee machine also. There was no cutlery or crockery or kettle and when we asked for some we were given plastic cutlery, polystyrene cups and paper plates and bowls in a very limited...

Good mid-budget hotel and location in Queens for a Manhattan tourist trip. Only 1 block from the subway train (E-N & 7 trains) Kind of a small european style hotel (single small slow elevator) but was fine for what we needed. Its a place to sleep, shower and go...don't expect it to be the Marriott. Try to get a upper...

I put a lot of time into choosing my hotels and because of that, I am ususally very happy with my choice. However, on this occasion, despite the number of good reviews this hotel gets I'm afraid that it did not live up to my expectations. Upon arrival it took quite some time to check in. The front staff (one...

The staff was rude, there was no wifi, do not believe what they advertise (free wifi); the room was not clean and the furniture was old and ugly, the tv-channels were limited and the quality was poor. Just the worst hotel I have ever been to.

Close to the city and convenient access to the subway. Room was average. A/C heater was right next to one of the beds and blowed directly on the person sleeping there. It was uncomfortable for that family member. Bathroom did not provide hair conditioner. It had a balcony but the view was just of old buildings.
