The innkeeper Kim took my reservation on very short notice. The house and property was very fitting for the countryside. My room was clean and extremely comfortable. She even lit the outdoor fire pit for me! In the morning, I got a very unique breakfast experience. I have several dietary restrictions which she accommodated easily. The eggs came from their...

3 1/2 star review, with a few minor details this place could easily be a (4) star resort destination. First off, I love Ms. Kim! She is such a sweetie, she gave me a bottle of wine when we checked in and said Happy Birthday to me. (hugs) We came here but treated this place like Las Vegas, we weren't...

There were literally hundreds of bugs (gnats and mosquitos) on the ceiling, on the walls, on the bed, IN the bed, in my hair and on me! It was like a scene out of a bad movie. I tried in vain for awhile to kill some but more just kept coming. The owner said some rooms were better than others...

I have to echo the sentiments of others whose reviews convinced me to stay at the Mountain Meadow Inn. This place was perfect! Such a bucolic, peaceful setting, Kim is a lovely host, who makes pretty much the best pancakes i've ever had! The room was bright and beautiful and like a bedroom in a family home. The chickens in...

Kim, one of the owners, welcomed us and we had a wonderful stay at the inn. Since it was a "light" weekend, we were upgraded at no cost to one of the rooms that has its own bathroom. This was very kind as we were going to a wedding and having our own bathroom to get ready in, made it...

This is a must for anyone looking at B&Bs in the area. The ranch is picturesque and the rooms are decorated very tastefully. Kim is an incredibly welcoming host and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. She had a fire pit going for us in the yard. And the breakfast! Don't get me started on that. The...

My boyfriend and I booked last minute for a ski weekend and stayed 2 nights. The house is very charming and Kim was a great hostess. We stayed in the Belleyeare room with shared bath. Having no B&B experience, we were a little concerned about sharing a bathroom, but it turned out to fine -- since everyone staying was skiing...

We had to be in the Hunter area for a funeral, and just needed a room for two adults travelling from a distance. We expected just that--a room--but got so much more. The inn is charming and reflects its upstate New York countryside location, and the room and premises were clean, tastefully decorated and inviting. Although we were just there...

This place is off the beaten path, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The owner Kim was a kind host and made a great breakfast every morning. My room had a shared bathroom but it was clean, large and modern. I would gladly stay here again in a heartbeat.

My first review ever but I am so compelled to contribute to tripadvisor community by sharing our pleasure of recent stay here. If you are going to the area - stop looking and start packing :) especially if you are with kids. Very kid friendly property, gorgeous views, campfire under the stars, eggs picked by you from under the chicken...

“The inn is small--only four rooms. It's really a B&B. Two of the rooms share a bathroom, so that would work well for families. Our room had a queen and bunk bed, great for three people.”

“We stayed in The Windam, which, with its private bath, was everything we asked for. I'd be shocked, though, to find that any of the rooms were anything less than perfect.”
