We chose the Horned Dorset to celebrate our anniversary. My wife had visited the restaurant years ago and was very impressed. I must say that all our expectations were met and surpassed. Our room was very charming having a rustic warm feel to it. It contained a fireplace with a large four poster bed straight out of a Dicken's novel....

My husband and I stayed at the Horned Dorset Inn for our anniversary. It is absolutely lovely. The room is charming, with a fireplace and four poster bed. European breakfast in the morning was delightful, and dinner the evening before was truly special. The food is at a level with the very best anywhere, and the service is excellent, warm...

What a charming spot! Country inn with delightful hosts, perfectly appointed rooms, an excellent breakfast & a highly reputed restaurant. We'll return in a heart beat. Very good location for an opera, the Glimmerglass Opera, that is!

We were un an upstairs suite and were surrounded by antiques and books - which made it perfect for us. There are no televisions in the room - also fine by us. Don't expect the mod-cons of TV but there is Wi-Fi. I saw one review which spoke of things looking a little "tired". For heaven's sakes ... this is...

We had three incredible dinners at the Primavera property in Rincon, PR, when Aaron was the Chef there several years ago. This is the first time we've been to the NY restaurant and dinner was every bit as incredible. He and Maddelena have put together a wonderful staff and the service was impeccable. Great rooms with great beds next door...

First I must say that we usually stay at chain hotels because there is a certain amount of predictability in the accommodations. B & B’s and Inns are not our normal stay. With that being said, our room at the Inn was very spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast nook surrounded by windows and a four poster bed...

This was our first overnight visit to the The Horned Dorset Inn. We had our fifth anniversary dinner at the restaurant back in 1983 and enjoyed our 37th anniversary dinner on this trip This is a unique and very pleasant location in Leonardsville. Our room was "creaky and quirky" in a good way. The chairs on the porch were great...

We stayed two nights in a suite: large, well furnished, very comfortable bed. The Inn is an old victorian house, with expected quirks and charm. Adequate continental breakfast. The part time attendant was quite nice, and attentive when she was there. The Inn is mostly a "hands off" (no one around) experience, which we liked. The only wrong note was...

we stayed at the Horned Dorset during my niece's graduation from college. I have to say it was quite mixed. On the positive side, the restaurant was wonderful. The staff was attentive, the food delicious, terrific wine list - all just what you would hope for. The inn on the other hand is very tired. While the rooms are quite...

If you are fortunate enough to experience The Horned Dorset, you will always remember it! We stayed there recently for a special anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to be the only guests staying overnight. It was quiet and restful. The dining was great; the chef knows how to put out a perfect meal and the staff is well-trained. What dedicated...
