We decided to spend there only a weekend in the middle of September. We were lucky with the weather and with our hotel selection as well. We were warmly welcomed, reception staff gave us all the information needed and were very kind. Although, there´s a lack of parking places in front of the hotel, they are able to ensure the parking on a little remote location. Still for reasonable price (3 EUR). Hotel is perfectly located just on the sea promenade very close to the beaches as well as all the shops and bars (but still not disturbing). Rooms would deserve refurbishment, but were spacious and clean. Everything was working just fine. We had a halfboard - there´s variety of everything in the hotel restaurant and food was great. Also, I appreciate a need to use the face mask in the inside areas, whilst there´s still possibility of self service (this makes much more sense than the other way round what we experienced earlier this year in some other hotel). I also recommend to have a dinner in their à la carte restaurant Sol Mediterranean for an extraordinary experience. Finally, swimming pools are fantastic, inside connected with the outside. Still very close to the beach with a crystal clear sea.

So we’re just coming to the end of another 2 week stay our 3rd time. As usual the cleanliness in the hotel is outstanding nothing is left at all, watching the cleaners in the morning trying to make sure even the front outside the hotel is spotless, hard job with the pine trees outside. We’ve always done half board and for me it works I love the variety at dinner time often going up for a second plate because I’m a bit greedy like that.!! Because of events of last year we couldn’t come but the staff remember me from 2 years ago (think that’s a good thing) it really is nice to know that they remember me friendly polite and welcoming the staff seem to work so hard but always staying polite and friendly, I feel the staff really are a credit to the hotel because they work very hard to keep the hotel functioning well and to a high standard they make me want to keep coming back because of the way you I get treated. I thoroughly enjoy my stay at bluesun hotel Brela and would highly recommend it to anybody.

My husband and I had a 10 night stay at this hotel in August 2021 so appreciate it is likely their busiest time and given COVID they may not be performing at their best but from the experience we had we would not return. The main reason is the customer service, the staff seems to do the bare minimum to do their jobs and no further. Examples that immediately come to mind: 1) Concierge - other than the packaged excursions run by the hotel, a lot of them were unavailable at the time we asked as well, the staff at the concierge was unable to provide any other recommendations. We asked for wineries that we could visit or walking trails and she was unable to provide any. A quick google was more helpful and the travel agency in Brela was definitely better. 2) The staff at the reception booked the wrong time for a taxi after confirming the times with us twice, and then the next day when we showed up for the taxi and found out the error the receptionist said "what can we do about it? there are no taxis available". After I pointed out that it was clearly their mistake and therefore they should try to help solve it and I wasn't going to leave the reception until they do, they were able to find a taxi. 3) When we wanted to order more food and drinks at the cafe, we were told that the waiter's shift was almost over and we could either settle the bill now or wait 10min for the next shift to start. Clearly putting process over customer service. Good things about the hotel: Room is clean and comfortable if a bit dated. Breakfast is varied and of high quality. Cocktails are great.

Thank you very much for your complimet for the room cleanliness and a food and for recognizing the efforts of our staff to make your stay at Bluesun Hotel Soline more enjoyable. Due to the covid crisis the organization of the excursions is different this season. Adhering to the measures of social distance, the number of excursions were reduced. We are really sorry to hear you had a problem with taxi scheduling. We'll try to find out what went wrong and what coused misunderstanding. Greetings from sunny Brela! Best regards.

Hotel is located at a breath taking location. Attention to all who get here by car and use Google maps. It tries to guide you to the hotel by driving on the beach promenade. Better watch the signs where to go. Parking is very limited at the hotel so we had to park 10 min walk away from the hotel. Room is kind of small(if you travel with a baby) and a little older (not that modern) but in good shape and clean. Mind rooms with parking view if you are sound sensitive- a little church is next to the hotel and starts ringing bells at 6 am. Food is ok. Staff is friendly. Beautiful restaurant terrace with breath taking sunset. Juice for breakfast is very disappointing. - mix of water and syrup. 60% of hotel guests were NOT wearing masks.

We booked a wine tasting session with Josip and he most definitely delivered. ☺️ It was a very very pleasant wine journey, an education with lot of intricate production details, but also a very pleasant night of funny stories and wine nerd talk. And wines were a treasure, we tried some really exceptional bottles. When we were leaving it was raining (pouring) and Josip was kind to try to book us a taksi to Baska Voda, but when it failed, he materialized 4 umbrellas out of thin air and sent us off giggling into the night. 10/10 would recommend.
