Everything you want on one site, the staff takes excellent care of you. Valet service was free with the suite, as long as you contact them 15-minutes before you go. Staff was excellent in taking care of you every wish or need. Was there for...More
Wonderful, smaller resort. Good for couples and families. Big enough that both can relax and enjoy the facilities. Top shelf. Suite was wonderful. We most enjoyed the living area - big comfy furniture and a fireplace, and the patio. Very comfortable bed too.
We had a 1-Br apartment for one week which was among the best we have ever experienced. Very comfortable, roomy, clean and well-equipped- just lacked a few kitchen utensils. Pool temperature and surroundings great. Loved it here.
To be clear whiteface lodge is a lovely resort. I stayed with family visiting from the U.K. They truly got the Adirondack experience is this beautiful facility. The junior suites were large and very comfortable. My family loved the year round outdoor pool and nicely...More

Breakfast was big and hearty and amazing. I brought some craft beers with me and had one in the movie theater, one in the pool area, and so on. Nobody seemed to notice. I don't think I'd hunker down in front of a fireplace with a cooler, per se....but a discreet beer or cocktail here or there is unlikely to draw any attention.

yes the hotel has very good food is pricey so what we would do is order pizza and wings from one of the local places they deliver it right to the room for the kids and then we would go have a nice dinner at Kanu....
last month we had dinner at Nicolas with two families and had six children all under the age of 10.... the food was absolutely delicious every meal is hand compared scrumptious pizzas were delicious too....
.. but they didn't have a dedicated kids menu so we just had to order them some shells with sauce.... a little pricey of a place to take children but worth it if you want a really good Italian food that's genuine..
plus being a small town its restaurants hve to be good... they're not going to last very long so the established businesses have been doing something right for many years.... they have to keep the locals in the tourists happy....
