We had a great time at the Loj for a few days!!! Great place to stay...staff is very friendly and accommodating and you can't get any closer to the mountains! ;-) Great starting place for a hike in the high peaks.

Facilities and staff were excellent. I love this area (been coming to the ADK Loj facilities since 1971). It's so very beautiful (one of my favorite places to visit). Only one complaint. The campsite rules need to be enforced concerning quiet after 10:00 pm (there...More

Dogs should be allowed as long as you are not staying in the lodge itself. Yet, as Ken T. suggests, i would confirm directly with ADK club which maintains the lodges.
