We loved our stay at the Lamplight Inn. Linda and Gene were great hosts (Gene's breakfasts are amazing!) The women who served in the morning were gracious and friendly too. Everyone at the inn is friendly and helpful and can guide you to experience the region at its best! The location was terrific and allowed my sister and I to...

My wife and I wanted to do something special for our first anniversary. I surprised her by booking a room at the Lamplighter Inn. At first, I wasn't sure how this would all go over. My wife grew up a few streets over from the B&B and I thought that she would want to go someplace more "adventurous." Boy was...

We stayed here for one night and wished we had booked a second night. We were greeted by Gene and Linda and welcomed into their home. Our room (Lilac Room) was so beautifully decorated with amazing attention to every detail and very very clean. The jacuzzi was a great addition which we used as well. The breakfast was delicious with...

I decided to stay at the Lamplight Inn in Lake Luzerne due to its proximity to Lake George (15 minutes) and Saratoga Springs (30 minutes). I also wanted something quiet, with a hot tub, and a porch and The Lamplight inn was a perfect match. We reserved the “White Birch” room in the back house and it was very nicely...

The Lamplight Inn nestled in the heart of Lake Luzerne is an Adirondack jewel. Charming accommodations, scrumptious breakfasts and a staff that makes you feel like a member of the family. Innkeepers Gene and Linda certainly know how to do it right. We've lost track of the number of times we've stayed at the Lamplight. We try to visit once...

Away from the busy shores of Lake George, this B&B is located in quiet Lake Luzerne but everything is pretty close. Value is good with very spacious room (ours had a jacuzzi) and solid but unspectacular breakfast. The hosts were really nice, helping us get a reservation at Bistro Le Roux on a busy Saturday night. Definitely recommending it !

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for the Lamplight Inn. I'm glad you enjoyed your Skylight Suite bedroom, that is such a special room. We always try to help our guests with dinner plans if they need our help, and then serve a hearty country breakfast in the morning. Hope to see you again.

Spent one night recently at the Lamplight Inn Bed and Breakfast and wish we could have spent more time there! We love it! We had the Woodside Romance Suite in the Carriage House, and it was absolutely beautiful! The deck off of the suite was an added bonus where we could sit out,, facing the woods and enjoy our wine...

Thank you! I am so glad that the one night you spent with us was so special. The Woodside Romance Suite is just that...a special room. The outside deck is a real plus, a really nice place to enjoy your cheese and fruit platter and a glass of wine. We are here anytime you need a quiet oasis.

Nicely kept B&B with friendly reception and staff. Breakfast room is airy, and breakfast itself has adequate variety, including omelets, daily special (waffle, French toast, etc.) granola table, fresh fruit, juice), but don't expect very fancy items. Room that we had was nicely appointed, but with small shower. Sound does travel easily through hallway. Overall, decent B&B.

Thank you for your review of the Lamplight Inn. We do have a friendly staff, and we try very hard to make our guests feel comfortable. The 3 original bedrooms in the 1890 Building do have smaller bathrooms, since we opted to give them each a private bathroom versus a shared bathroom. I know we were full the Saturday evening...
