After 6 days in the desert without any facilities this place looked like a palace - great working A/C and no mosquitoes to fight off while trying to sleep. However, on second look the place is only average but definitely sufficient for this part of...More

Acceptable rooms but not real nice. The beach directly at the hotel is not very inviting,the food is ok but expensive. The included breakfast is only 1 cup of tea/coffee, bread, butter and jam and eggs have to be payed seperately. 7,40€ for an omlet...More

Not a lot of choices for hotels in this town. Le Golfe is a very tired hotel right on the Gulf of Tadjourah. Views are wonderful! It depends on what room you get for the ambiance. Our room had AC but no hot water... others......More

We stopped here to have lunch on the shaded terrasse overlooking the sea. The food was tasty - we ordered grilled sardines, grilled prawns, French fries and salads. It was all washed down with cold Ethiopian beers and a bottle of chilled (and reasonably priced)...More

Have stopped here a couple of times, during trips to Tadjoura. Bar and restaurant attached to the venue. Rooms are spacious, albeit basic, most rooms with twin beds. Bathing facilities are basic, albeit they meet your needs whilst your on your travels.
