This is our fourth year in a row coming here. More family and friends in tow. We've been coming to LG for over 30 years. Stayed at many places. Alpine is on the lake in a cove with calm water. You can walk on Alpines beach, which is lake beach sand and will harden up with lots of rain, float or swim...

Planned to stay a week, left after one night......You get 1/2 a cabin, the room is tiny and filthy, bedcover and drapes look like they haven't been cleaned in ages, carpet was filthy and stained. Bathroom was also disgusting, shower curtain had mold on it. The fireplace is an accident waiting to happen, check smoke detector if you decide to...

We ate here for 3 breakfasts because we enjoyed the food and ambience so much. It was very picturesque, the building was pretty and they served ample, very good food, but the wait staff were short handed and we had to wait awhile 2 of the days. It was the best place we ate breakfast in terms of the food.

I just got back from another perfect vacation at Alpine. My family & I have been staying here for a number of years now, and each stay just gets better then the last. Ernie & his family have never been anything but very kind, and they work very hard to make sure their guests enjoy their stay. I've stayed in...

Though it is rustic, it is very well kept and very well maintained, every light bulb was lit ,The owners and staff were wonderful to be around. In our opinion one...

We stayed at this Alpine Village this summer for a second week in July 2013. The pros are as follows: 1) There is a breakfast restaurant there and a good view of the lake from the deck. 2) It is on lake george in good vicinity to the village 3) Towels changed daily Cons: 1) While the resort states that...

This is a very special place tucked away on the beautiful Lake George. The owners obviously take pride in their resort and go out of their way to accommodate your every need while you are on vacation there. There is great variety in lodging, from a lodge room to small cabins, to larger housekeeping cabins. I have been here twice...

What a dump. Place smells musty. Beds are uncomfortable and small. I'm 5'11" and my feet were hanging off the end. Pool is very small. Lake view is nice but you can get that from the hotel next door which had so much more happening. We winded up going to a different hotel and leaving a day early. It's funny...
