We booked this place last minute as all other places around Catskills were all reserved. I was a bit apprehensive after reading the negative reviews and wasn't expecting much. To my surprise I had one of the best vacation. Agreed the carpets and the sofas are stained , the building is old but the place is serene and peaceful. It...

If I could give this hotel 3.5 stars, I would. Although it was a little outdated and could maintained better, it was clean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. If you're looking for ambiance, this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking for somewhere that's clean and fairly priced in the Kerhonkson/Gardiner area, this...

Went for a drive, ended up staying at this "resort/spa" Perhaps in its day, but not now. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was no restaurant or bar on the premises. Many large banquet rooms, not in use. The rooms were clean, but again, everything is old. Definitely needs lots of love and care. If you go, be...

This is my third year going to this event, and I always have a great time. The hotel itself is need of some renovation, but has many positives: the staff are friendly and accommodating, the location is beautiful and very scenic, and the food is quite delicious. I look forward to going to this event every year, it rocks.

Our family has been here 4 times over the course of 6-8 years. The reasons that we keep going back: quaint and quiet, the golf course, nice service, budget friendly. With that said, this isn't a place that will knock your socks off. The main facilities are clearly old and in dire need of renovation. The base structure was clearly...

Came here for a weekend as part of a group. When we checked in around 4:00 we noticed that the ac in one of our rooms wasn't working. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone. The temperature in the room was at least 90! Luckily we were there with family and had 2 other rooms...

I attended a three day conference here. Upon entering the lobby I could tell this was once a grand hotel, but was very outdated and it smelled musky probably from the very old rugs. I liked the room which was quite large, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The outdoor pool was closed. The staff was friendly and the meals good....

Way outdated , bathroom tile missing almost all grout, stains on floor which I wiped and they came off tile tells me they didn't clean floor. Can hear everything thru walls, mattresses feel like they're original. Reminds me of The Shining, although staff was very friendly. Resort? I think NOT. Don't know about spa. Wifi very slow , room tv...

The hotel is really old. Some of the rooms smell quite bad, and the heating is really bad. However, it has a certain charm to it. It's the last hotel of its kind. You can tell that it used to be really elegant. It has a large conference center and an outdoor pool. I've heard good things about the spa...
