Display says no smoking and when you go outside and smoke and come back in you smell like smoke and they still charge your card $100 and might even put you out because the room smells like smoke even though you smoked outside
The room was alright. The help seemed friendly enough. But some piece of crap broke into my car while we were sleeping I noticed a few things missing out of my car. A $64.00 room ended up costing me over $600.00 I guess That is the way it goes though
I got the creeps from the moment I pulled into the parking lot. The front desk staff was very short with me, never smiled once, and should not be in a customer service role. The hallway smelled like stale cigarette smoke. My room was ok at best; stained comforter, dusty surfaces, toilet was making noises, couldn't hang anything up because the tv & dresser it was on were right in front of it. The walls & ceiling were paper thin so that you could here anyone & everyone in the surrounding rooms or hallway walking by or talking. Breakfast is a joke! I understand with COVID-19 that things have to change but that's when things should be adjusted; offer other pre-wrapped products; you have a sign up apologizing for no bread products but it's ok to offer use of a "community" utensil dish & napkins that are unwrapped & who knows who's touched those?! Or give a discount & don't offer breakfast at all!…
I really like this place and stay here whenever I'm in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area. This Super 8 is a no frill motel: bed, desk, tv, Wi-fi, simple breakfast. The tv has On Demand which lets me catch up with tv I've missed while on the road. That's a big plus for me. The staff here is great: friendly and accommodating. I prefer a room on the second floor away from the road. There is a train tack nearby and the occasional train but nothing too awful. Other than that, I've found the rooms to be fairly quiet. There are two Greek diners within a walk of 5 minutes from the motel and if you show your key card at the Olympia you get 10% off. Another great restaurant about 7 miles down the road (near the Walmart) is the Taisho Bistro. An excellent Japanese restaurant.
The front desk staff and management were great. The walls were really thin. The mattress and pillows left alot to be desired. The breakfast was adequate. The island in the road made coming and going more cumbersome.
