My girlfriend and I stayed at the Cascade cabin last weekend (Aug 2014) for just 2 nights during a quick hiking trip. The place is just about a 5 minute drive from the main Trail's End Inn building near where The Garden trailhead is. It's on a small road that hugs the Ausable river, nice and quiet and the only...

My son and I stayed a night while spending a couple of days hiking in the High Peak region. I grew up in the region but have been away for a couple of decades so was looking for an authentic experience. Trails End did no disappoint! They are a couple of blocks off of route 73 so you get no...

Located really close to the high peaks trails, this large B&B has comfortable beds and can accomodate couples or families. It's surprisingly large and has several large rooms, some with closed in porches with views. The interior is rustic Adirondack. A great breakfast is included, so for the price, it is a great value. Pack lunches are also provided for...

I returned here because of my awesome experience staying here last year in Jan. I was not disappointed. The place was cozy, welcoming (the light was on for me when I arrived, complete with a note in my room welcoming me back), breakfast was delicious and the other guests very friendly. I stayed here as a base for xc skiing...

Welcoming and comfortable. It was a joy to stay over for a weekend winter night. I can't wait to return this summer. The bed was great, and even though there were about 5 other couples staying over, it was entirely silent all night. A perfect stay.

Trail's End is appropriately named, considering its strategic location at the trail heads of several popular routes into the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. These trails are excellent for hiking in the warm months and snowshoeing or ski touring in winter. So if outdoor recreation is your purpose, this is definitely a bed-and-breakfast to consider seriously for your vacation. It...

Stayed one night (Friday). My vehicle broke down the night of arrival. Sue and Dave offered assistance with their own tools and helped find a reliable mechanic to tow the vehicle. The actual place was very clean, neat and cozy. Plenty of relaxation at this place, no loud music or screaming kids. Its very private and even the other guests...

I have stayed at Trail's End Inn three times over the last 10 years, and I will gladly return in the near future. As you drive up, the Inn and setting is postcard perfect with manicured lawn flowers and towering evergreens. The location has been commented about extensively in other reviews. However, in addition to its proximity to some great...

This B & B is the best I ever stayed in. Lots of home comforts, great location and a good base from which to explore the high peaks region of the Adirondacks. A true home from home. The service was friendly but not intrusive, the breakfasts we unforgettable.

I've stayed here 3 times already during this year. One of these was dropping off my parents for a week long stay - they do not drive, so the location of the B&B was perfect. There are plenty of intermediate hiking trails within walking distance of the B&B (Rooster Comb, Snow, Hopkins, John Brook Lodge), and a 5-15minute walk to...
