We offer:Fishing, PADI SCUBA diving, snorkelling tours, scenic boat cruises, walks in Nsumbu NP, watersports such as tubing/wakeboarding/waterskiing, kyaking and just relaxing on the beach.Its great for families, fishermen and honeymoon couples alike.

Agree with all the positive things others have said. Difficult to get there by road, but 2 hour boat trip from Mpulungu is easy and very pleasant. Being in a remote place is a major bonus! Highlights for us were the excellent chalets, the water skiing and scuba diving and seeing animals in a very natural setting in the Nsumbu National Park. We first saw the wildlife by boat from the lake and then on a walking safari. Noone else there and a pleasant change from the usual commercial game park. Close encounters with elephants, hippos and crocodiles and more. Charming and efficient owners and good food and service.

After going around the falls in northern province in hectic roads, this place was on point, first time camping and I felt at home! The 170km bouncy dirt road was well worth it!! The end destination is amazing! The campsite is beautiful, situated under big trees (they have thorns so take shoes). The ablutions were clean and had sufficient hot water. the mark of a good holiday is when you are planning your next trip back!

The road from Mporokoso is shocking - takes almost 5 hours to travel the 170km but IT IS WORTH IT. I would suggest a 4 night stay is the minimum given the time it takes to get here and leave again. We were met by Harry who showed us around the camp site and gave us the low down of arrangements. Stunning campsite and spotless ablutions. Power for our camping freezer available. Good fishing and snorkeling. Just chilling in the hammocks on the deck made one feel like you were on an exotic island.

Thanks so much for your review! Its this kind of feedback which is invaluable to clients wishing to visit so we always appreciate when our guests take the time to write for us. On the good side, there is currently a grader and roller working on the worst of the dirt road between Nsama to Nsumbu so although its still dirt road, the condition should be improving over the next few weeks, especially now as the rains are ending. I will always still recommend a good 4X4 vehicle as it does make the journey much more comfortable.
