It was lovely and peaceful, with fantastic views. The campsite was simple, but good with wonderful views of Lake Kariba, and we had a super time. We saw crocodiles and hippos, and went fishing from a canoe. The swimming pool was clean, the staff friendly, the canoeing was also at an excellent price. The bar had a really relaxing area...

Eagle's Rest is a nice getaway from Lusaka. Being on the water is a blessing and a curse when camping. There are beautiful skies, hippos and crocs that can be seen from a campsite. During the day it is often peaceful but when night descends the local fisher folk fire up their boat motors that bang, ping, and chug to...

This is a wonderful campsite on Lake Kariba. The pitches are well spaced out. They are basic in that they have neither electricity nor water. The ablution blocks are a bit dated, but very clean. There is Wi-Fi at the Beach Bar, which is also a nice place to just hang out. We didn't try the restaurant nor did we...

What I was promised upon booking was far from what we found. We have 3 toddlers and found our room not conducive for small children. There were ants in the room and the porch was not the cleanest. The shower could have been cleaner too. Beautiful view but we were forced to move to another lodge when management was unable...

There is assurance of rest on this site of the resort town. Sunset view fanatics can achieve their feat without much effort. Add boat cruise to your activities in Siavonga. Clean fresh water beach adds flair to the place. Wine assortment and other cold beverages alleviates hot weather prevalent in the area.

Nice welcome at the reception. The rooms are okay. Could be cleaner and it would help to spray against ants and other little animals. The bar is a nice place to sit. Bar staff is working in polo shirts with big holes and not really clean. Food at the restaurant is a waist of money. The breakfast is very basic...

These self catering chalets are located on the shore of Lake Kariba. The bedrooms are air conditioned and there is a lovely, cool, clean swimming pool with a shaded area nearby. We were there in the heat so these details were essential to our comfort. Each chalet has a well designed BBQ - safe for small children. Breakfast was included...
