I can not say enough to do this authentic experience justice. We have had some amazing getaways traveling the globe and this one happens to be right in our own Adirondack backyard. From the magical setting, to the outstanding service and food, to all the small, above and beyond details. We are already counting the days until Camp Orenda opens...

My wife and I have travelled a lot and I consider myself a bit of a Boy Scout. This place has the kind of vibe that reminds us of the outdoor camping that we love with the luxury of a big comfortable bed, clean facilities, a gourmet chef cooking on hot coals and wonderful friendly staff! Dave and his excellent...

We just came home from an incredible weekend! Even though it was drizzling and a bit chilly the whole weekend, it really didn't matter. We stayed warm and comfortable in the covered areas and/or sitting around the fire and/or in our tents which are warmed by wooden stoves. We hiked, kayaked and biked and ate delicious food. The surroundings are...

I write this as a review from a guest here only for a wedding. The place is gorgeous. A fantastic location for a wedding. I have heard of some concerns from the family renting the place that the staff hasn't been overly responsive to changes and requests. But, it is a unique place and worth a visit if not a...

Camp Orenda is fantastic! Our second time here and it just keeps getting better. The owner Dave is a flawless host and never stops. We have already made reservations for next year and can't wait for our next stay. Meals and hospitality are wonderful. We enjoyed the hiking, kayaking and relaxing by the fire. Love it!!

Orenda is a truly unique and special place. The whole setting and tents are lovely and Dave is a brilliant host and a great cook. You can do as much or as little as you like. We hiked up mountains, swam in and canoed across lakes and picnic-ed in the glorious outdoors. It was definitely well worth the trip across...

Here's the low down and and what I'd want to know before dropping this kind of dough for "camping." This is truly "Glamping." Accommodations- The tents are more like canvas cabins, as we didn't feel a drop of rain the first night it poured. Nice sunny porch to chillax with comfy Adirondack chairs. Lovely to hear the rain outside of...

This place is pretty amazing and Dave is an incredibly passionate host! We stayed for a weekend in Hemlock and had a great time. The camp is beautiful and meticulous decorated down to the last detail. Beds were comfortable and I loved listening to the sounds of the stream outside the tent. Bathroom/shower was clean and comfortable and there are...

Simply put, Orenda is a special place. It starts with Dave, a hands-on owner who never stopped working to make sure we experienced Orenda the way we wanted. For us, that meant jumping on Orenda's mountain bikes for a trail ride minutes after we arrived and returning to chill out in Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. He sent us...

Orenda is amazing! My husband and I had the best time and we can't wait to go back. We loved the accommodations (clean and perfectly comfortable), the food (delicious, dietary restrictions accommodated), the adventure (Dave has everything from hiking trail explanations, bikes, canoes, camelbacks, towels, sunscreen, you name it), and the company (we loved our meal time with lots of...
