20 minute wait to check in. Clogged toilet. I asked maintenance to fix. When I returned to my room in the evening, I found the toilet overflowing, soaking the bathroom floor and adjacent room carpeting. Called maintenance man again, who vacuumed up most of the water, but left the toilet untrustworthy and the floor and carpet soaking wet. The room...

My daughter and I booked this hotel through a third party (online) and specifically asked for rooms in the "executive tower" since those appeared to be newer rooms. When I checked in, the desk clerk/manager told me that we had asked for the executive tower, but she was "upgrading" me to a "renovated" room. While the room had had some...

I was really excited to come visit Ithaca for one day. Friends of mine and I stayed at this hotel for one night. And honestly I'm not really happy about it. One night costs us 234$!!! For that money we didn't have anything. When we were checking in they told us there is no elevator so we have to take...

Spent three nights there, staff was great, nice bar, didn't try food.Rooms are okay in newer part of hotel but very noisy facing the street.Be prepared to be woken every morning to the sound of traffic and construction.Kind of annoying that newer portion of hotel would be that noisy.Hopefully newer addition will be more quiet.Convenient to restaurant's.

Stayed here because a friend was getting married nearby and I figured downtown would be most convenient. The rooms here are pretty expensive for being in Ithaca, but that’s really not a big deal. It’s the quality and service that I had a real problem with. I stayed here for 3 nights over July 4th weekend, and paid $701.73. The...

I don't usually review places I stay for business, but I felt moved to after being so disappointed here. The hotel is in the middle of a large expansion but if they don't get housekeeping issues sorted out I can't imagine why anyone would stay more than once. I stayed in room 995 and my 2 colleagues were all on...

Lovely front desk staff and manager, who helped smooth away from issues with an un-renovated room. There really should be two sets of prices until all rooms are renovated, then people's expectations would be appropriate. Special thanks to staff member Jeremy who helped us start our dead car battery - helpful, friendly, truly above and beyond.

The hotel was in a nice location within walking distance of downtown restaurants. The parking lot across the street was convenient and free for the weekend. Our room was in the unrenovated section and was barely acceptable. The carpeting in the hallway was filthy, and the carpet in the room itself looked many years old. Otherwise the room was similar...

If you want a nice hotel, with great service and a great location, Hotel Ithaca on Cayuga Street fits the bill. I stayed in the main building. It was nice and clean but could use a bit of a freshening up. I trust that the tower is and the new addition will be updated.

Not the greatest hotel. For what it is this hotel is overpriced. There is a smell of mold and humidity and stains on he carpets in the corridors. They need to complete the remodels and upgrades before charging these rates. This is by no means a 3star hotel.
