We stayed in Frog's Way as part of travels between New York and Toronto. What a beautiful place! The B&B itself was comfortable and cozy with everything we could need. We were the only ones staying, so we had the place to ourselves, but there is just one other room so sharing would be fine. We loved the environmentally friendly...

We had a lovely stay that was everything I hoped for and more. We stayed in the Peach Room, which was a cozy room with a direct view of the busy bird feeder. The individuals in the Lavender Room came late/left early, so we had the lower level largely to ourselves. The granola/fresh blueberries & homemade yogurt were the best...

We stayed for a 4 day 3 night stay. It was such a great escape for the normal reality that is the 9 to 5 life. Our first night the power went out in 1,400 homes, our Bed and Breakfast included. Elan was right on it and extremely accomodating. Flashlights, candles, etc. It did not bother us one bit. The...

We rented Elan's entire house, including to the lower B&B level, for Cornell graduation weekend. With enough notice, they do rent the entire house which includes the 2 B&B bedrooms, the B&B family room and bath downstairs, the main floor with a kitchen, dining and living room area (open floor plan), and the upstairs with 3 additional bedrooms. This turned...

Elan greeted me as I arrived and gave me a quick tour of the downstairs apartment where this room is located. I was the only guest that evening, so I was given my pick of the rooms. I chose the peach-colored room, which was quite cozy and comfortably cool despite the warm day. I interrupted Elan as he was cooking...

Spent a night here on our way from Toronto to Philadelphia because of it's midway point, but we're pleasantly surprised by Ithaca as a town, and even more so by the Eco Village and its commitment to sustainability and community. We were inspired and refreshed for our trip. Elan and Rachel were absolutely wonderful hosts, and we were very happy...

We had a wonderful time at Elan's place. He's a gracious host who is very knowledgable about the area and was very responsive via text whenever we had a question. He also came in every day to tidy up the space and restock breakfast items, which was we did not expect but very much appreciated. The Eco Village itself is...

What a relaxing time we had at the Frogs Way! Inn Keepers Rachel and Elan Shapiro are delightful people. It was a pleasure to experience a different way of living. Typically when we visit Ithaca we stay at a downtown motel. I guess we got a little tired of the musty and overpriced rooms. This time we decided to go...

Frog's Way B&B is a unique experience in the Ithaca Eco Village, which is very convenient to Ithaca. The location was perfect. The grounds are beautiful, and the view from the bedroom windows is peaceful and lovely. Guests may use the grounds and common areas, which is a wonderful perk. There is also a nice hot tub for your use....

“small...and I would not bring kids,,room to run but 2 rooms are close..no privacy and sound carries..I would have been shushung my kids 24/7”

“There are only 2 rooms to choose from and depending on when you book, you may not get a choice. Peach is a little bit bigger, but I just resonated with the light and vibe in Lavender.”
ramblinrae, 25 Nov 2014 | Read review
“It is a little confusing to locate the B&B at first- especially if you are (over)dependent on your smart phone, as google maps doesn't (yet) seem to pin-point it-but if you call Elan he is happy to help you navigate.”
339laurenh, 21 Jan 2014 | Read review
“Ecovillage is developed based on sustainability principles, so as far as indoor spaces are concerned, "less is more". Yet Frog's Way offers sufficient place for comfortable sleep and breakfast. Since we were traveling as a family of 3, we rented the larger of the 2 rooms - the peach room.”
TO_Trio, 11 Jun 2013 | Read review
“Stayed in Peach which was lovely, even if you don't stay in lavender room the lavender soap and flowers abound so you get a bit of this as well!”
