I've stayed in a few of the local hotels around the Fulton Chain and this is by far the best. Extremely clean rooms. Rooms are of good size. Nice little water front on 7th lake. Small watercraft (canoe, kayak and paddleboat) are available for guests. They also have cabins for families. Golf course is just down the street. Will always...

This little motel is typical for the Adirondacks area. It hasn't had any upgrades in years and is very basic, but most importantly clean and the owner, Cherie, is very friendly and nice.. There is no AC, so it sometimes smells a bit musty. I don't think any places have AC. The Adirondacks are typical 60s style. The benefit this...

To begin with I was very pleased to find a room for a one night brief stay near Limekiln State Park. I'd be spending all my time with friends at the park and only needed a place to stay. After making reservations a relative offered us a place with them. Unfortunately Deer Meadows was having a Special Event that same...

I had taken my two kids, ages 11 and 13, on a last minute mini vacation to the Adirondacks. After visiting The Wild Center in Tupper Lake earlier in the day on July 22, we didn't have a room reserved for the evening, so I figured I would see what was available as we drive south on 28. There were...

I have been to these cabins so many times I almost feel like I am home. Cherie and her family have been making this a dream destination for so many families for so many years I can't say enough. Waking up on a brisk Adirondack morning watching the fog roll across the lake having a cup of coffee listening to...

Every year when we pull into Deer Meadows' driveway, I feel like I have come home. Yes, my mom and I have been going to Deer Meadows for 50 years, but the beauty go the area, lovely cottages and motel rooms, along with Cheri and family, I feel at home. Our cottage was renovated last year and our friend's was...

Marvelous cabin on a pristine lake in the Adirondaks. Great place to get away from it all. Accomodations are clean and Adirondak Rustic. Morning mist over the lake is especially nice. Great place to enjoy that morning cup of coffee and breakfast if you are so inclined. Boats are available for use on the lake. Fishing is good.

We've just come back from a long (not long enough!) weekend at Deer Meadows, there were two couples, myself & my husband Charlie & Janelle & Andy, two dear friends. We went to celebrate my birthday. This was Andys' first time in the Adks. & he loved it! Our only complaint was the rainy weather. If Cherie can figure out...

Recently updated room, very sweet owner, great accommodations. We loved that we could use canoes, rowboats and paddle boats without extra charge. Super clean room. Loved the donuts and coffee in the office in the morning! Great little touches made all the difference!

My husband and I spent a week in a cottage at Deer Meadows. The cottage was recently updated and was very nicely done with a new fireplace, windows, pine paneling and a new deck. The kitchen included every appliance, dish and utensil that you could ever want on vacation - and then some more. We didn't mind preparing most of...
