We stayed there in October 2016 (I'm slow getting this review done) and loved it. The breakfast is home made, from scratch, and as good as I've ever had, especially the bread!! Thank you Sam!. The room was perfect, quiet, and the host made us feel at home, but also stayed in the background when not doing something for us....

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this restored Dutch stone house in quiet Hurley, NY. The house is quaint and comfortable, but still reveals its original styling. The rooms are simply decorated to show off the home's character. I loved the whitewashed plaster walls, wood pillars and joists and wonderful wood floor. The bed was so comfortable! And...

Thank you for your lovely review, and for suggesting we change our Keurig machine coffee. We read all our reviews and take into account all opinions even if we don't always have time to reply......Recently we tried Hills Bros K-cups as they are fully compostable (if you use a commercial composting facility), but, we agree, we don't like the coffee...

Rhinebeck, Kingston, Catskill, Saugerties...a great area to visit when the leaves are changing color and we had the perfect place to base our leaf peeping weekend from. The Stone House was a wonderful B&B. One of the oldests (if not oldest) places to stay in the US. A great breakfast, very comfortable room, and the most amazing hosts. I highly...

A beautiful old stone Dutch colonial that is lovingly and meticulously cared for. We were greeted by the warm and helpful staff. Incredible breakfast. Best sleep we had in years. We definitely will be coming back.

The inn is charming and old, but not well appointed and pretty tired for the price. If it were either half the price or better kept, I would rate it higher. Bath amenities poor bathroom dirty and in disrepair. Could hear others showering and breakfast ok, but not super. I can't recommend it, unless the price Is reduced or housekeeping...

We stayed at this very sedate b&b one night and found the hosts very accommodating and mindful of everyones comfort .They were quietly attentive and cooked us a hearty breakfast and conversation around the table with people from various places around the country was earnest but civilized considering it was about politics . The house is a work of love...

We stayed at the Stone House for our anniversary. Relaxed natural country landscape surrounded the beautiful old house. Clean rooms, great food and really good coffee prepared by the welcoming Sam and Nadia.

This lovely old stone house is much larger than it appears from outside. It has gorgeous wide plank floors and is nicely furnished with antiques. Simon greeted us and showed us around the property, pointing out amenities as well as displays of artifacts found during the house's renovation. He brought us to our room, The Geographers Room, which is tucked...

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. We think you're reviewing the Art of Painting room (and we think you're referring to Sam - there's no Simon here!) as that's the only one with a carpet and we're happy to say that it's being replaced next week. It's not that old, but it did stretch the...

I booked this B&B for my husband's birthday after reading excellent reviews. Unfortunately, I wasn't as impressed as the reviewers before me. We stayed in the Geographer and our room was small and sparse and it looked slightly run down. The property was beautiful but we didn't really have a good view of the river. The most disappointing part was...

We stayed in the Geographer room and were wowed by all the special touches. The room was in a part of the house from the 1700s, very simple and comfortable. Nice bath - we loved the wood floors. It takes quite a bit of TLC to keep an old house looking so clean and fresh. We found it fun &...
