This hotel is far, faaarrrr from being a Hilton or Sheridan but wasn't as bad as some of the reviews stated. The pros ....The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The look of the room was ok. Cons.... minimal amenities, room could have been cleaned better and the PRICE. I could see paying 70-100 for that quality of...

Once you realize it's a very old hotel with a minimal breakfast and only the basic amenities - you understand that you get what you pay for and that's just fine. We got "upgraded" to a suite and thought we hit the jackpot. Turned out to be only a bit bigger than the standard room. The payment was sadly taken...

Attending the Rheinbeck Yarn Festival and stayed for two nights at this hotel which was about 20min away. It is located in the heart of "downtown" Hudson and walking distance to several galleries, shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and neat however walls are paper thin. Front desk made two billing mistakes and billed our credit card the day...

DO NOT BOOK HERE - HAD TO SEEK LEGAL ACTION!! Wish I could leave zero stars. Upon suggestion from my wedding venue vendor list, I offered this hotel up as an option for my guests. I also booked a hotel room for my hairdresser at the St. Charles as she was traveling from CT. Absolutely ATROCIOUS, INCOMPETENT management. I stopped...

I've owned a house in Hudson since 2007 so I've seen what the town has to offer from its B&B's, to private homes, to its many businesses. In the midst of repairs on my house I tried to book a B&B but all were filled. So the one place with rooms was this place. I had that it's exterior was...

This is a very old hotel in a historic town, so brand shiny new is not to be expected! Yes, the floors slant a bit and the elevator makes scary noises- but overall the hotel is clean, quiet, within strolling distance to the main shopping district and very reasonably priced. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that...

I generally don't write reviews, but I feel I must to counter the scary reviews. My daughter and I stayed for one night at the end of August. We had a large room with a king sized bed, and a seating area with a sofa and coffee table. The bathroom was also large. Everything was absolutely clean. We saw other...

This hotel has seen better days. The lobby needs updating, there is a slight musty smell and the breakfast leaves much to be desired. That said, it's affordable and comfortable. The bed and linens are fine, the room size decent and the bathroom adequate. It's a nice location at the top of the main street in Hudson, close by to...

Upon arriving at the hotel and exiting our car we were immediately hit by the overwhelming stench of hot, rotting garbage. Once checking in and getting to our room, we were affronted by a strong stench of cigarettes. I paid for a non-smoking room and that is clearly not what I was given. In addition, to the terrible cigarette smell,...

One of the worst hotel stays I've ever experienced. I knew this would be no 5 star experience by any means and in fact had stayed before last summer and found it perfectly adequate, however this time it was simply terrible. My room was absolutely freezing when I arrived in the late afternoon/early evening and I switched the aircon off...
