#4 of 18 B&Bs / Inns in Hudson
26 Warren was built in 1810 and is one of the few remaining proprietors homes in historic Hudson. It is a unique Adams style brick building that was once the residence of the painter Edward Avedisian, and a number of his unique hand painted walls and doors have been preserved. 26 Warren is in premiere location to enjoy all of the attractions of the city and the surrounding area and is within walking distance to Amtrak, culture, galleries, shops and restaurants of the city. The B&B has preserved the character and structural integrity of this historic federal home. Throughout the bed and breakfast you will see pumpkin pine floors, high ceilings, wainscoting, crown molding and original wavy glass windows. All guest rooms are elegantly decorated and comfortably furnished with an eclectic blend of furnishings. True Comfort There is Wi-Fi throughout the home but we do not offer TVs. Guests can enjoy other spaces in the house including the large covered back porch with its inviting outdoor furniture and the balconies are great for friends to enjoy quiet time with a bottle of wine. All the rooms offer private bath en-suite and luxurious bed and pillows, fluffy down comforter and luxurious towels and linens. Seriously Delicious Breakfasts are special at 26 Warren. A gourmet breakfast is served each morning between 8:00 and 10:00 am in a beautiful dinning room. There's always something yummy cooking in the kitchen and David and Erika will treat you to a fabulous 3-course vegetarian breakfast and depending of the season, they offer unusual treats to enhance the second "B". 26 Warren can accommodate most dietary need including vegan, gluten free and diary-free. 26 Warren welcomes wedding parties and offers catering for small events on premises. My son and I were traveling through the Hudson River valley and we were lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. Inviting and comfortable! Breakfast was amazing in front of a crackling fire. Thank you! !

The worst B&B we’ve ever stayed in. Dirty towels, blood-stained pillows, dead flies on filthy window sills, a terrible bathroom... we fled when we saw dirty, filthy kitchen and the brown lettuce on the breakfast plates. Innkeeper does not speak much English so communication is an issue. She neglected to tell us that we needed to move our car (it sat right outside the house I plain sight) to the other side of the street, which resulted in a parking ticket. She asked us to vacate our room half an hour before check-out time because she needed to leave herself... on top of all this the place is horribly overpriced. Stay away! I can only guess that the previous positive reviews must have happened under a different management.

Our stay at 26 Warren was a bit lacking. The building itself was charming and quiet, away from the main area of town. Our room was wonderfully air conditioned and cold (It was a 100+ degree weekend!), however the room, while large, lacked anywhere to hang clothing. There was no closet or dresser in the space. Also, the bed in the Sienna room was the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on. My husband and I woke up in pain both mornings and had trouble sleeping through the night. Nobody came to make up the room or provide fresh towels for the day we were there, and at this price point, is inexcusable. Also, there was a smoke alarm above the bed with the battery latch hanging open with no battery in it. Not that safe. The bathroom is oddly laid out. That fact could add to the charm of the room, however the hot & cold in the shower is backwards, so be careful if you're trying to add more cold water. The water will only get hotter and hotter. We didnt partake in the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. Overall, I would not recommend, unless they were to add some functional furniture to the room, and not just strange, ecclectic, slightly shabby furniture. It would also help if they upped their daily housekeeping of the rooms. And most importantly, a new mattress should be purchased in Sienna!

This was my first time at a bed and breakfast. I picked 26 Warren for a night for a long awaited girls roadtrip for the location, but the historical aspect and relaxed feel from the website really drew me to it. Just have to say that the next one I stay at has big shoes to fill. The owners were WONDERFUL, the room was comfortable, clean and quirky..the breakfast was amazing, and location was great to walk around town and down to the Hudson. I live in Florida so this was a well needed slice of upstate NY on our journey. A definite recommendation for anyone traveling down the Hudson!!!!

The building is timeless and the rooms decorated with tasteful character, I would highly recommend a stay at warren b&b. The breakfast was an added bonus ! Delicious . Looking forward to our return ... Jessica & Amir
