North luangwa river camp is at the river bank of luangwa river, such a beautiful location, the chalets are arranged so beautifully, we could see the animals from your bed. Wonderfull experience. Cheero 👍
We have visited North Luangwa National Park twice this year, and both times were breathtaking. For sheer wildness I doubt there is a park in Africa to equal it. Beautiful bush and HUGE trees, and full of game..... We loved our stay in the camp - which we had fully to ourselves due to COVID. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I doubt we can really give an honest judgement on the camp because clearly visitors have been few and far between this year, with the camp owners "locked up" in Zimbabwe. All things considered the staff did a fantastic job, and Brett in Zim was very helpful on the logistics, etc. The camp is fairly rustic - don't expect 5 star, but it's certainly worth a visit. The deck overlooking the river is stunning, we really enjoyed watching the birds and hippos each day. The chef did a great job in the kitchen, and we were able to go in game walks, as well as a night drive with the camp staff. Definitely worth a return trip....... …
Amazing, remote and wild, this is the real Africa, with few people and lots of wildlife. We did not see another vehicle the entire time we were at the lodge. we stayed in one of the 4 chalets which are amazingly luxurious for how remote the camp is. Each one has an en-suite with flush toilet, hand basin and shower.. The Chalets have uninterrupted views of the Luangwa river and its wildlife. Every morning we did a walking safari with a guide and game scout which was the best safari I've ever done, so exciting and insightful you just don know whats around the next bush. . In the evening we took a vehicle safari had sundowners on the river bank followed by a night drive. WOW!!! The food was delicious and the service and staff so happy and friendly eager to help with everything we requested. You could not ask for a more authentic experience. Go before it gets discovered.…
this is one of the most beautiful places in Africa where you feel like the only people in the park. We did not see another vehicle during our time there. Then Lodge has been rebuilt and renovated and is stunning it is one of the most down to earth peaceful places I've been to. In the night you hear the lions roaring as you sit on a deck overlooking the Luangwa River. The food was Fantastic home cooked and the staff were very friendly and tended to out every needs. We saw plenty of game on our walk and game drives, Elephant, Lion, Leopard and even went looking for Rhino in the Sanctuary. Thank you so much for a wonder full experience.
the middle of the wildest Africa we find this wonderful lodge that consists of several bungalows raised from the ground about three meters and a large platform that serves as a restaurant and bar with wonderful views of these Luangwa river where all kinds of animals are seen.
the place is very beautiful, the construction is very original, I have never seen a place like this, all elevated from above on wooden pillars and joined by bridges. Superb sleep quality and very good food. All the buildings have magnificent views of the Luangwa River. I recommend it
